New 2hr abilities what would you like to see

I would like to be able to use your subjobs 2hr, ie blm/rdm could chainspell , mnk/war could mighty strikes ect....
I had thought of this before, however making it half duration/potency as it is half your level. Likely broken of course, but definitely an interesting idea. Limit it through merits, allowing you to merit 3 jobs that you can use their 2hrs as subjob 2hrs.
However, I will wager most alternate 2hr abilities will be in stark contrast to our existing 2hrs. Some I could see happening-
RDM- boosting melee capabilities (rofl, see all recent RDM updates)
BLM- single powerful, enmity-free magic attack that drains all MP
MNK- more of a single chi blast based attack
NIN- multi-throwing attack, to finally make use of that weapon group
SAM- other party members version of their current 2hr
while other jobs will get a "fixed" or "enhanced" version of their current 2hr abilities-
PLD- 2hr will block all magic attacks
RNG- Barrage on crack, again enmity-free
SMN- Will allow another Avatar (guessing Cait Sith)
Just some initial thoughts.

BLM - WARP III: (Usable 1 time per 2 hour) Warp the target to the party leader (incluing all zones exept instance one (Like nyzul))

Its 3 to 15 clones (not shadow) its luck based, to get 15 you need the super luck powa :p

sweet we're giving names to 2hr abilities with descriptions again! Allright i'm in!
war -Titans Fury- attacks deal double to triple damage
mnk -Shunko- Attacks deal severe damage(like omg i'm kicking people through houses severe) with added lightning dmg
whm -Holy Trinity- insta raises party members nearby, grants party members full beneficial buffs(protect,shell,haste,stoneskin,max hp,mp) resets duration of buffs
blm -Event Horizon- any spell cast during this time, is auto casted again instantly, grants +mab/+magic crit/+macc
rdm -a la outrance- if next attack deals less damage then enemy's attack,duration: increase attack damage by five times and magic damage by three
thf -Perfect Distraction- Significantly increases %chance of item dropping, attacks increase enmity. sneak attack/trick attack effects doubled for duration
pld -Crusade- duration damage taken is converted into extra defense for self and party members; adds defense to attack
drk -Wings of Destruction- instacasts absorb spells, defense converted to attack, grants -pdt/-mdt/+mab/+macc, magic damage dealt heals self. grants capped equipment haste.
rng -broadside- depletes remaining ammo for a devastating attack. attack based on remaining ammo
bst -Bloodlust- Pets deal severe damage, pet attack is added to bst's own attack.
brd -Grand Symphony- allows for another song to be casted, next song's effect is tripled and duration doubled
sam -Rising Sun- grants regain effect. weaponskills deal double dmg
nin -True Assassination- duration damage dealt from rear is 100% crit rate & double dmg, damage dealt to front slows enemy and applies massive poison effect
drg -sky god- duration wyvern attacks grants dragoon tp, attacks deal quadruple damage
smn -Divine Intervention- selected avatar grants party members bonus of the avatar. (Example, you pick titan, party members gain major earth resistance, -pdt, increased defense, stoneskin and enstone)
blu - Essence Flux- duration, magic damage dealt ignores defense
cor -No Quarter- quick draw dmg doubled. range attacks dmg doubled. duration of rolls reset, effect of rolls auto goes to max bonus
pup -Final Act- For duration, automaton deals severe damage, then self destructs at end of duration
dnc -Dance Macabre- Increase attack speed/damage and flourish potency
sch -Domina Morte- duration effects of offensive magics increased, at end of duration, % of damage dealt is returned as mp

I predict they will be the exact same merit system as the new Weapon Skills. 5 upgrades to reach maximum potential, 20 maximum in the entire group so it's possible to unlock every one if you wanted.

SCH - Strategem Rasa : Allows all Strategems on all spells and makes full spell book available as if under Light and Dark arts (Think Enlightenment) , Boosts Magic skills to A+ for 30 seconds .
I don't see the point in this. Just using Tabula Rasa + Enlightenment would do the same. The only time the A+ skill would be useful would be for Embrava, otherwise the skill increase is pretty useless. Plus the fact that Tabula Rasa lasts for 180 seconds and gives you access to Embrava/Kaustra, you wouldn't see anyone using this over it.
Skill affects more than embrava . Helix Spells dont Manifest . Kaustra is great but unless the mob is weak against Dark magic + MP cost you'd be better using a helix . Haste doesnt ascend , Blizzard 5 doesnt Manifest , Paralyze doesnt Ascend . i am sure you can see where i am goin with this . Enlightenment only lasts for one spell cast , not 30 seconds . Besides Embrava/Regen5/Adlo on Tabula is already awesome , where else can you go with SCH ?

I was thinking something along these lines after watching sch af cutscenes. Maybe something that lasts awhile but you gain charges per kill or some nonsense.

PLD- Knights Oath. Defense is doubled. All Enmity is drawn to PLD. Immunity to magic. Similar to Cover, only for entire party. Last 30 seconds. i must say your idea for what the 2h should be is really great,btw has se told us how we are unlocking the new 2h or are they just giving ever class 2 2h moves. I'm not sure, as SE is always speaking in metaphors and allegories >< I'm, almost certain that the new 2hour ability will have to be quested. Idk prolly you will need a geode of each kind, 3 cut scenes, a trip to Dynamis-Tavnazia in order to retrieve the fallen soldiers keep sake. After you return to Maat he will reveal the keep sake as a Wild Onion and then you can use your new 2hour ability. Starts with Hidden NPC in Xarcabard[S] and ends with Maat in the present. Sounds like something SE would do. I want them to just give them to us. But I'm crossing my fingers hoping it has nothing to do with Abby.
or they reset your job back to lv. 1 then do all that stuff once you hit 99 again

I would like to see White Mage get Reviviscence! Since WoTG came out and I seen the Galka WHM NPC Ferreous Coffin use it, I've wished I would have it some day.

Yes, but the time for this has come and gone so maybe SE needs to be reminded about it. Now that we are at Lv.99, it's time for WHM to have access to this one way or another. 2hr recast is really long, so it would be better as a new merit JA with a 20~10min recast.

i'd like to see whm's new 2hr give some uber group buffs, or something. maybe like auto reraise or w/e or an aoe arise

As the 2012 road map for FFXI has shown, a batch of new 2hrs are on the horizon. will they share the same timer as the old 2hr our hopes would not but odds are they will. So i pose this question what would u like to see in jobs new 2 hr?
me personally:
Rng - Forest Friend
Call a Pixie pet to aid you in a fight also when you die its last act is to drop a raise on you before it disappears.
Rdm - Impervious
Aoe Magical Invincibility
Mnk- Deathblow
insta-kill or massive damage 4-7k
pld- Crusade
adds your defense to your attack but doesn't drop your def
Hundred Fist like attack speed with a one-handed weapon.
