LOL and try uninstalling that ***once you put it on. Only program I had to go on their website, download and install a special tool to get rid of the *** thing...and it still didn't get all of it, had to clean the registry up after. Annoying...

I use AVG And no it doesn't slow down my computer. I use it for5 years now. it does tend to get slow but whe I'm running five things at once and a virus scan is going on. other than that nope and my computer is 6 years old

Quite aware. I do IT work on the side and repair/rebuild pcs out of my home.

Aside from the Ludoggy is a hippie derail, I use Mozilla Firefox with NoScript and AdBlock, and the usual Windows Vista Firewall, etc. I've been doing fine otherwise, I don't know what other ***might hit my computer--All I use it for is FFXI and school--so basically, FFXIclopedia.org, FFXIAH.com, and the school website. I don't think I'll have any problem without AVG--it slowed it down to the point of annoyance, and I have dial-up patience, people XD

Thanks for the feedback, I'll probably reinstall AVG every so often to clean up my computer, but I won't leave it running full-time. Thanks!
