If I go DNC, it would be subjob-less to try and get a crack at the white. This would be with duo ofcourse.

Any advice for someone coming back after a 2 year hiatus? I've got thf and blm 75 and 76. Probably going to get both to 99 asap and do a bit of gearing up where I can.

My goal is Mandau but not sure how things work these days with the changes to the whole game and dynamis in this particular instance. Have nin, mnk, and war in the 60s, rng 75, and whm and rdm 37. Looks like I have some work to do regardless.

Our group got 7 whites in a run before, but since then its 0-2 per run.

Can anyone back up this assertion? I always farm as DNC+THF, we have Mandau and Twashtar, and the highest we've gotten so far in Valkrum is 468 with 38 touches on DCs. If this post is referring to fighting EPs, I could believe it, but then your touch count will be much lower and the overall yield will be less.

I would suggest reading up on Dynamis in this thread as a good starting point. BG Wiki has great Dyna info. You can thf/dnc in cop zones for JA staggers and get your Mandau pretty quick.

We have had it happen twice we do not ws at all until things are JA proc we have two dnc two thf and two heavy DD ussually so dncs stay on mob till proc while thfs go around th all the things once a mob is procced the heavy DD gets on it and kills it dead so was not mistake I hate to say I am glad for you every time drop 100 piece tho~ congrats
