Since there is no general topic for jobs, question here.

Is there any job where the occ attack twice or the double attack +11 Physical Weapon Trials are worth doing? Also, what one is typically better to do if either one should be done?

Great Sword is amazing.
Unless you plan on making caladbolg past 90(Or a ragnarok), this is more worth your time.
Pretty sure the same goes for Polearm!
If you'r a scythe-DRK, and I'd say the Scythe is a solid option aswell, but entropy is a weaker WS than resolution is.

They'r also solid offhand weapons for 1hand jobs, but I belive str\atk paths beat them all unless you'r capped on attack.

Depends on the enemy you fight.
Everything from 100(really weak) to 1400-1500? or so <_>

pDif caps at 2.0 for one handers and 2.25 for two handers

A one hander you'd need 1200 attack to cap pDif and 1350 attack to cap pDif on a monster with 600 DEF.

Just a slight correction, ratio caps a 2.0, not pDIF (ratio is the ratio of your attack / enemy's defense)

No footwork build. Could make one but that would mean 4 sets of armor for mnk.

If you do Footwork, you'd need to do OAT2-4, too. Otherwise just go with STR.

I'm kidding. Please don't make OA2-4 unless it's for proccing.

So I take it in all reality, no point in making any of those weapons for Mnk

If you're making any non-emp magian weapon, do STR ones.

The only job I can think of where it would even rate a "maybe" is BST, and I'm only saying that much because I don't know enough about BST builds to make a more definitive statement. I can't think of any other DW job that should be using a DA weapon, though it's entirely possible I'm forgetting something.

Arisui is ahead. Even in the best case for Majimun (fSTR/Ratio capped, high haste buffs for minimum DW) it would only match Arisui. Assuming Kannagi 90 mainhand.
