Ive started working on mine as of late and am just curious to see what the cap is and what others are using for a MDT set on war, i realize some people will have no need for this thread, but i want to become better at my jobs and war is my best right now.

I realize there are better items that are Rare/ex, but at the moment im having issues gathering some, IE valhala helm less than 10 mil on my server, or even a VW body which seems to not exsist 0/25 lol, just working on my sets and taking any suggestions from pros at this sort of thing.

ive got that one added to the list, but i broke my stock pile of gil so im down to next to nothing, trying to find another way to make gil cause selling aby items isnt working out anymore, to many people doing that.

</set>What I'm using on WAR atm, but I barely really use my warrior. Need to get a shadow ring and find a Engulfer's Cape <_> Edit: Shadow breastplate have MDB+4 augment* This is a good starting set seeing as how Shadow Ring is fairly easy to obtain now.
Ogier's Helm is an excellent substitute for Valhalla helm, and I've seen good drop rates on all the Ogier pieces. Ways to improve on this set are replacing Iron Ram body with Mekira body and replacing the MDB in other slots.

Im having bad luck with crafting the +1's atm, but i am working on those, mollusca mantle seems like a great addition i didnt even think of. thanks Jinjo.

Athos/Ogier are definitely not in the same 'rarity' slot, Bot Rex's extremely rare drop is the weapon, I assume the same applies to Ig-Alima.

Let me see if i understand it, shellra 5 puts MDT cap at 30%? Capped Shellra V gives you 27% MDT 29% with augmented AF2+2 legs. So you would need 23% or 21% from gear to cap. You can also put in Brachyura earring or sheltered ring (which do not stack) for an additional 2% MDT when Shellra is cast
