So uhh, the Phorcys Schuhs, right?
They say, "Enemy TP accuulation -10% when physical damage taken."
What, uhh, what exactly does that do?
When you take physical damage from an enemy, the enemy gains 10% less TP from their attack.

I know their potencies were halved with the drop from 2 hours to 1, but do SP recast reduction evoliths also affect SP2 abilities?
+ Is any modern gear etchable? - no, due to lack of Mordant? looks like Evur is as good as it gets
-12 (for the jobs that have appropriate evolith NMs) becomes -6, and then you may skip one piece for relic for SP1. It gets easier to justify 4-5 inventory to drop 45 minutes to 39 minutes if it also works for SP2s, particularly on bard.

You can't get -12, there's not enough space. Also for some jobs (COR), You have a JSE piece that takes a slot.

For brd I think it's max 3 pieces you can get for -2.5min off SP1. -10 on each piece is the max.

For BRD you might be able to actually justify the extra -recast if you don't need the +duration, but for COR there's no circumstance under which you'd want to drop the feet.
IDK what you mean by
-10 on each piece is the max. For COR, it's -1 on head, -2 on body (maybe this can be 3 but I haven't seen it), -1 on hands, and -1 on legs. No piece is even remotely close to -10 and even the whole set isn't -10. I would be surprised if this were significantly different for BRD, but (despite the fact that I'm an avid BRD player) I haven't actually researched it.
The pieces just don't have enough space.

I made a set for my WAR back when we did melee Sortie. (so I could pop MS at H then F at the end) The wikis are wrong and Maletaru is correct.

Let me rephrase - isn't it the case that the max reduction you can get on brd is -2.5min off SP1?

If I had to guess, I think the max reduction you can get is -6, which would be 3 minutes off. Don't quote me on that exactly though, because I'm not sure what slots the BRD gear can get and I've never looked at boots since I was focused on COR.
Probably: -1 on head, hands, feet, -3 on body. If you don't need/care about the extra 30s of SV from using relic legs, you could get another -30s from legs (for a total of -3m30s)

So last night I killed one (Imm. > Imm. > MB > MB - start at 20' and hit macro takes ~22s) I think waited ~60s before engaging the 2nd one. Killed it in ~22s, pulled 3rd immediately, but because I was watching timers didn't realize my MP was low so took a couple extra low tier nukes to finish it off not sure on time probably ~30s. Killed 4th in ~22s again immediately after (had sublimation charged, just should have hit it sooner) and got chest.
So time from 1st pull to 4th kill was about ~3min.
Time from 2nd pull to 4th kill was 1:52 I think (< 2m)
I got chest after 3 kills < 25s (individually), I also got chest after 3 kills < 2m (consecutively). So not conclusive either way I'll try again soon but figured I'd report this if anyone wants to add their own data. Not being sure of the individual time of that 3rd kill murks up my data a bit, hopefully I can repeat again except i think I can kill (wait) kill, kill and not get the chest and all 3 are < 25, that would prove the consecutive time span theory.
I think I got a chest once with a longer kill in the mix and I was surprised but because I was not paying close attention to the time so I could be wrong.
Did the same experiment last night killed 1, waiting a min. killed 2 more and got chest (I think about 2:30 from 1st pull to 3rd kill)
This seems to support < 30s theory and not overall. So maybe its 25s or there's a 2nd condition (or bug) that affects it (based on what's happened to me I'd suspect its related to changing mob types, aggro or leaving the B area via porter the times I've struggled with it. (maybe there's a limit like the 5min. after entering C area for Bhoot too, although I've gotten the chest after 6+ kills once or twice I think when I had minor issues with speed)
Another update on this: I think its 3 kills < 30s (time could be slightly different) but I think there's a commonly met condition that can break it (not sure what it is). But could be with X time entering section or before getting aggro, or without leaving section. I got aggro and zoned last night and was unable to get get the chest to pop after killing several very quickly (7ish?) thereafter. 2 or 3 could have been ones I aggroed but the rest were not.

edit: actually, while looking at the COR piece, I think COR can get a -2 on head, with some luck. So you could get -2, -3, -1, -1 (-3.5m) on COR. Not so sure about BRD because, once again, I can't find info on the wiki about which armor has appropriate slots

The wikis are incomplete cause no one ever got into it and no one cares anymore.

Ebur seems significantly better than Furia, for this. If the wiki is to be believed.
Ebur Beret: 6 space (-3)
Ebur Frock: 8 space (-4)
Ebur Mitts: 5 space (-3)
Ebur Slops: 5 space (-3)
Ebur Clogs: 6 space (-3)
If this is all true and possible, you could get -16, or -8 minutes.
It would take absolutely for-***-ever to get the right Evoliths though.

Furia ebon and ebur are just color differences, it shouldn't be different
The same editor put 4 on black, 4 on red, and 6 on white. Don't know if he just screwed up or what. Never seen 6.
8 shouldn't even exist for 2hours, so likely the ebur set is wrong

Salty didn't destroy the evolith pages on any wiki, They've always been incomplete.
If you're bored enough, farm the mats, craft an Ebon Beret. Etch it (mordant) twice ▲6 ◎4
Erase it (revertant), pigment it Ebur. Etch it twice, see if it's ◎6 instead of ◎4

Today in sortie for Casket B1, I was able to replicate the issue.
Step 1: clear all of A normal objectives on foot (everything but boss)
Step 2: proceed to B on foot, passing through D fomor rooms shortcut, so I qualify for Chest B5
Step 3: go straight to bitzer+device and get Chest B2+B5, click both device and bitzer
Step 4: teleport down to basement F and do empy lockstyle clear, and come back to B
Step 5: step out and kill the entire fire elemental room. Most of my kills were sub 15s. I acquired Chest B3, but Casket B1 never spawned.
Step 6: Now for the test, leave back to bitzer b and teleport to d
Step 7: toss my wing for Chest d2
Step 8: warp back to b, respawn wing
Step 9: go back out and kill elementals
Step 10: kill 1 elemental slow, then 1 sub 15s, and Casket b1 spawned
This is making me think so.ething related to teleporting is necessary for Casket b1
I think it makes sense as a clever trick since the same wing has Chest b5, which aasks you to not teleport.
I expect anyone teleporting counts, so if people split up the condition always is satisfied so ppl don't notice

Ebur set on ffxiclopedia is wrong, they're all the same sizes (4 head, 6 body, 3 other three slots).
-3.5min reduction for brd if you have 4 pieces at their max sizes, one slot for relic legs for SV duration.
Ebon/Ebur/Furia all have the same slot sizes. I believe this is the case for all these sets - difference is colour and the other augments which are not shared like the SP slots.

Everyone complains that "kids these days" don't have any attention span, want instant gratification, have no critical thinking skills, and can't do research, yet here we are, grown *** adults, some with kids, asking questions that are incredibly obvious and already answered on the same web page we're on.
The augment says "wild card: recast -1". How is it possible that multiple human beings read this and thought: you know what, I'll bet this reduces the recast of cutting cards.
...and then didn't read any part of this conversation, or check any sources at all, or watch any videos, or do a picosecond of research.
Just like the people who post IN THE JOB GUIDE THREAD, "does anyone have a list of gear i should get for this job?" every other day.
For those of you that visit Bg you already know the premise of this thread but for those that don't, it's simple.
