much easier to ooze something, die, afk 15min than it is to plan 3 NMs you can do 6% on. so you sacrifice the charged amp bonus for simplicity or combine it by doing 3 NM runs in a group then soloing, etc.
oh also very profitable, can merc 5 slots of v25 for 3m+ per run, so 15m for 30 seconds worth of work.

This dude didnt seem to have many problems doing Butterfly 3 times to charge an amp, though he did only do V20.

Personally, whenever I have time, I always do the 3 runs in a row thing.
KI1 => My main target (this will benefit from the supercharge)
KI2 => something else I can solo and that I need
KI3 => something else I can solo and that I need
Rinse and repeat until I'm satisfied, each cycle takes a bit more than 45 mins.
As of late I ran out of targets I can solo and that I NEED RP from, for KI1 and KI2, so I put Dealan Dhe on both KI2 and KI3.
First KI with THF, second with DNC (using a different set of trusts for each).
I usually idle with my trusts out for like 10mins, then engage when under 5 mins and turn around once I've done >5%.
Once I'm out I convert Dealan Dhe RP (which I don't need) back into segments. Which is not even, but it minimizes the amount of RP I spent (9k for the KIs, 4500 for the Amplifiers)
It's a good method (especially so when you can put in the list 3 different NMs that you need RP from) but not if you're in a rush and have time only for just 1-2 NMs

There's also needing to do 4 runs, so 45min at least not including lobby time, vs a single run.
Personally I prefer 3xV25 charge -> 1x for RP. But it's boring and makes me not want to do it. Sometimes just want to go in, get some RP and get out quickly.

There's also needing to do 4 runs If you do it the way I do it, it's just 3 runs, 3 KIs.
Because I keep a supercharged stored.
Pros and cons with this approach of course, but each time I wanna do some farming, I always do a full cycle and keep the supercharge I get at the end of the cycle.
But yeah, it's a bit more than 45 mins each cycle, as I mentioned earlier.

I have no trouble with this on SCH (on umbrils fusion > MB nuke > MB nuke) so 4 spells but the other day it was waters day I think I killed like 5 or 6 before the casket spawned. I frequently got it to 1% and needed to cast an extra nuke and I assume I was just outside the timer window for a couple of the kills the wiki shows the 30s as unverified, maybe its 15, 20 or 25 seconds, I dunno (I did not time them but it was "slower" and still felt quick to do 5 nukes, although I think once or twice I got it to spawn when I thought I was slow on a kill)
But so long as nothing unusual or dumb (i lose weather, spell gets interrupted, I'm a bit slow and miss double MB) happens its always been 3 kills for me to get it.
Once in a while I think zone lag causes issues with my GS too (although it could be a random resist although when things seem "bad" it seems to be a bit more consistent which is why I'm suspicious of lag, although quick magic can cause that too but that's generally pretty obvious when it goes off).
I'm kinda wondering if I'd be better doing elementals but I'm afraid of magic aggro.
Do you have to open any B doors to get to the umbrils, touch the device, the bitzer, anything lile that?
Whars your route you use to get to umbrils. My current theory is maybe I have to open a door or touch a device or something first, something usually a condition people naturally achieve often, but I might not be when I beeline straight to the elementals on foot (I don't teleport)
So last night I failed to spawn it, I nuked 2 down very quickly, then I had to run to a different room for the next one, after 4 nukes it was at 1%, 5th nuke finished it off. I then killed 3-4 more all with 4 nukes (SC + double burst), still no chest.
I suspect maybe the timer isn't based on a "per mob" kill but the time between the 1st enmity and the 3rd kill (maybe 60-90 sec?) I think between having to run down the hallway and then wait on charges i never killed the sequence fast enough, I most certainly killed many mobs in 20s or less.
Unless its bugged like temenmos ??? (or many other things)

We had a fail the other night too, and I was thinking similar, but it could also be "kill at least 3 mobs, with an AVERAGE kill speed of under XX seconds." So if you have a really slow one it can totally screw you over.
Would need more testing to be 100% certain.

Agreed on the more testing, but I don't think its average I should have passed that check (and I've gotten it after 5 or six kills before due to extra aggro or w/e for a slow kill, so I don't think its first 3 either)
I did try the fire elementals last night since I was curious about them from my prior post, of course they move more so trying to cast at max range caused problems and then moving in caused several to aggro I killed 1 or 2 and then just ran and used the porter to drop aggro so maybe leaving the area messes it up too (or switching mob types, or my ghetto hate reset caused an issue), I dunno.

This could possibly align with my result, I also paused to do 1 slow kill in the middle of my "kill streak"
It could be something more like "kill 3 enemies in 2 minutes" or etc?

Looking for folks tips on how to maximize points yields during Campaigns/Reives, when doing the monthly AMAN trove objectives.
I keep doing campaigns/Reives, and they end early and I get so very few points.

I keep doing campaigns/Reives, and they end early and I get so very few points. As I recall, the amount of AN earned per minute is capped. So the longer the battle, the more of your contributions are actually being counted. I never set this roe anymore though, if I were hurting for that last silver voucher I'd sooner play mancala.
As for reives, just do a WKR.

I recall there was some kind of trick people could do by handing in tags and refreshing them over and over, or something?

Assuming you're the only one in battle, kill most of a wave then sleep/stall the last few mobs until you've held tags for 15mins. Turn in the tags for 9000xp/4500an, get a new set and wait another 2 minutes to finish the wave off for 1200/600 for your full 5k.
It still sucks compared to any other objective but besieged, but this is the least-painful way to do it.

I'm trying to find out more information about Gilfinder gear?
I'm curious how much you can stack on THF. The Bandolero Scarf is the only piece of gear I can find online that does not stack. The Fafnir drop Andvaranauts, I don't see anywhere online that it can / can't stack. The THF relic legs have "Enchances "Gilfinder" effect" and ffxilopedia has testimonial of that increasing Gilfinder by 7.4%, but the Relic +3 legs say Gilfinder +3. So I take it this is more than the 7.4% on the base Relic legs? Neither BG Wiki or Ffxilopedia have a good breakdown of Gilfinder.
Thank you for any insight.
For those of you that visit Bg you already know the premise of this thread but for those that don't, it's simple.
