That's pretty much what I was thinking But in that case I could just get an earth staff for main and alt. And for the Ratk I feel like I could get away with using mekki shaki in place of a vulcan's if I was serious about using rng with anything but armageddon
if you're spamming last stand you'd be /war no? in that case I'm told aluh jambiya + fencer is better, no?
friend of mine left for another server very unexpectedly, he had my scorp harness+1, rep sub & an opo-opo necklace still on his mule, any way i can get those back or too much trouble to bother with & move on.
The loss is miniscule, move on I'll say.
Does the "the TH level gets to XX" message pop up with /thf or only thf/XXX?
only THF main. pets and /THF (or pieces of gear) don't get the message
Thf main only Velt. Thief sub doesn't get the additional effect: TH+1

Any amber WS pup can get from a subjob other than Aeolian Edge? club WS with /war. dagger with /nin or /thf should give cyclone and gust slash or AE (i think /war gives that too, no?)
This may be a silly question but, in Nyzul, can you provoke gears at max distance without getting a penalty for aggro or do they still aggro provoke since it's a job ability? I know ranged attacks are a safer bet, just curious.
provoke works fine. for claiming gear before they detect you, and therby avoid the penealty from aggro
I know I asked about the OaT polearm, but how does the TP bonus fair at 99? Is it even worth considering? Or should I just man up and OaT it up? (Really don't want to do all those damn lotto NMs lol)
PLayonline Error code POL-1160 unable to connect to ffxi from a friend's neighbors house. I have 3/5 bars of wireless connection, is it not strong enough of a connection to support it i guess?
go to network settings and click "check connection"
see if that fixes it. for pet kills on magian weapons can I team-up? or does my pet have to perform the kill?
Any pet can get the killing blow.

As many of you know i am a noob when it comes to many ffxi related content. My question today is about the elemental gorgets. I am planning on getting one for my reso ws set. Does it matter which element i go with? I went with thunder since i already have the matching waist. But saw that they recommend soil on the drk forums. I know both enhance reso. But does one do more for me than the other?

Obviously you need pitchfork and ark scythe for the first two... actually if you have the ark sword or trainee sword you could get both sword wses as well. Does kitron macaron work on synergy skillups?
In ballista, does Third Eye absorb a Ranger's barrage outright, or does it absorb only if a randomly calculated number of bullets hit, or does it not absorb at all?
