I was about to start a spreadsheet for Af, Relics, and AF3 per all jobs so I do not go try to put that relic acc in my porter and find out I already have one.
Including a way to note if you are collecting seals and the current count, and I just started and I realized I am sure someone else has already done this.
I goggled it and tried searching the forums, so I figured I would ask has anyone already made something for just this they would not mind sharing?
If so Thanks in advance!
If not I will post mine tomorrow (hopefully) when I am done with it!
Anyhow. I do have a spreadsheet for af, af+1, relic, relic +1, emp, emp +1, and emp +2 armor for all jobs. It's not from this site though, my husband and I simply made our own through our gmail email accounts on shared documents. Super simple to make and easy to fill out. If you have a gmail, I'd suggest doing it that way. ^^

This is what I use - not sure if it will translate ok into google docs*, but... yeah. I tried to make it accommodate whether or not I use whatever item, and my progress on whatever piece, etc. Hope it's helpful!
*not too bad, but still better in excel
If you want, also, (anyone) just PM me w/ your email and I'll send the original. Basically the only differences are thicker outlines and some vertical text (which I am sure you could all do, anyway) but yeah.
I did!! however i never saved it or posted it or anything.
Gald to hear im not the only one makeing spreadsheets tho lol.
Thats a pic of the one i made a long while back. Top part for aby seals. Bottom left for dyna (before it was changed) And then one for WS.
I've made others for NM pop sets, +2s, spell lists, assult. You can do it for a lot of things'
Edit: They were also designed to be printed out. So i can mark them as needed, and should the need arise i can take them to another location. (also i don't have to switch programs on my comp all the time. Which helps if you have issues with multi programming.
Edit 2: Iv been skilling weapons for a week or two straight so im bored enough to get another photo :p
That ones for Aby Nm's. It lacks any descriptive text because iv made several before so i already know what everything is. But it includes everything needed to get a +2 piece. (Multiples in this case) What it takes, how many it takes, and how many you have.
Followed by a list of NM's and what they drop that you need. Along with my favorite part, a spot to mark off what Ki's you already have. So know more constant looking in your menu and trying to see what you have or don't have. Now i can just use an X and i no i have it. And once i use it, cover it with a highlighter. Nice and simple!
I took a screenshot of mine so you can see what I'm yapping about. Had to edit some stuff out rq, sorry. xD
Edit: You can probably see on the bottom of mine that the document showing is the 4th one in line. We also store my husband's list (identical to mine except with his obtained stuff showing up instead), and todo, which is just a to-do list. Basically that one says finish this quest line, do that fight, yap at this NPC, etc.
Edit 2: We have it automatically set up to black out a square when that piece has the correct number in it. Example, you only need 1 relic piece to have that piece, so you put 1 in the box when you get it and the box blacks out. You need 8 emp seals to finish one of those (I'm talking just +1, excluding bodies of course) so when you get 8, you put 8 in the box and the box blacks out. You might notice that my corsair leg seal box is red-- that's because when it gets close, the box automatically goes red to show you that you are close.

This is pretty cool. I made a AFv3 spreadsheet in Excel at home that I use. I just have 1 box and it either says x/8 for seals, +1, or +2 in it. I never thought of doing it for relic and AFv1 as well. Thanks for the idea and template.
This is kind of random, but I use an iPhone app called vana Diel mini. It only tracks dynamis gear, but it does a good job. It also has maps, ferry times, crafting times, etc. I'd say it was worth my 99 cents.
There are some other apps which do the same kind of thing. There is a porter Moore one for storage slips which I'm sure is really nice, but I have never downloaded it because it has no reviews and is made by a Japanese person/company. It's 2 bucks. I think I might just buy it and try it out for the heck of it. It's called "find for storage slip" lol.
Anyway, just my 2 cents
UPDATE on the app I mentioned "find for storage slip". If you can spare the 2 bucks it's pretty cool! It has all the storage slip stuff, the normal armor storage people armor, event items, and empyrean seals. It also let's you search by stuff by where it drops. So let's say you were going into dynamis xarcabard, you could pull up that page and know what you already have and what you don't. It has sky,sea and zeni. Then it has a section that lets you tie the equipment you use most with each job...that part doesn't seem that great but whatever. Anyway, it's pretty sweet if you have an iPhone!
It kept crashing my firefox but opened perfect in IE. (Proablly one of my addons)
Liela that looks pretty good! Thanks for the post guys, Terminus I am going to build off yours I really do appreciate the post and the work you put in to get it there.

That's hot! That, and the "percent complete" are making me want to play around with mine some more... :D

Be careful with the percent complete parts. It's hard to get them sort of accurate because the spreadsheet will try to automatically weight everything the same. I think when I first filled mine out, it said I was in the thousandths percent complete for every one, and my husband had to go through and do some math-y thing to make it closer to accurate.
But it's still awesome. :D I love lists, love spreadsheets, love that my percents complete are closer to accurate, love the automatic color coding. <3 <3 <3
Plus every time I look at my relic chunk, I get the Tetris song stuck in my head. Which is also awesome. xD
I made a googledocs spreadsheet aswell for me and my bf with 1st just af3 and all abyssea zone with space for all the KI's (for a FC for example) it counts how many +1 and +2's are there kinda XD later added relic pages lol
ok i know really colorfull. but i like colors! i dont know how you can open a spreadsheet so someone could copy it for himself but wont be able to edit mine or i could send you if you need it

Not sure, either - but you could probably make yours be private, and have another copy be public.

FFxicalculator is what you're looking for, it can keep the records of every storage slips you own , as long you put/save those records on it.

You can leave your copy as is. A person visiting your spreadsheet can go to File > Download as > Excel. They can then edit it as an excel file on their computer, or if they wish to put it back onto their own Google docs, then Create > Spreadsheet, File > Open

What this man said. FFXI Calculator is amazing. With all of the Dynamis I've been doing recently, I'd be lost as hell as to what I've gotten a hold of. Download it, learn to use it, and love it.
