Having Retainer Issues

I wanted to see if anyone has had a similar issue, so here goes.

I have two retainers, one is to hold my crafting materials and the other is to sell my stuff. Well my retainer that I use to sell my stuff is caught in some type of limbo. I go to summon him, and nothing happens. I can still type in linkshell, but I can't move and I can't cancel it. The only thing I can do at that point is close the game.

Also, nothing the retainer has bazaared shows up when I search the item counter. It's mildly annoying.

The market ward is full, you can summon it via the summoning bells around the adventurer's guild. Look for it on your map when in town. You can also summon one by renting a stall inside one of the wards.

To have your retainer selling it's bazaar you will either have to go to one of the wards not at capacity or rent one of the stalls inside.

oh wait failure on my part, yes you have to reset the game, that glitch happens time to time when you attempt to summon a retainer.

Except its now happening to both of my retainers. SE couldn't fix the problem and asked me to put in a bug report. I did that yesterday, and today both of them are broken.

I close the game, and come back in to the exact same glitch.

Also, why the *** would the ward being full cause my game to lock up? That's the dumbest ***I have ever seen.

Then again, how does the ward fill up with my retainer already inside?

summon your retainers outside of the wards, that way you can at least have access to them

use the retainer summoning bell you can find at the adventurer guild. usually that will call them out with no hassle.


I don't bother putting my retainers in the wards since usually nothing sells. lol


I get that stupid glitch all the time and the only way to be out of it is to force crash the game.

Why do you have such and awful game experience Xeonerable? Every post it's "nothing sells, there is nothing to do, the game sucks, no groups are ever made" etc.. I'm playing the same thing you are on the same server and I'm having a lot of fun.. I don't know maybe you should step away from it for a while or find some new people to hang with.

I'm talking about the retainer+market ward bug that does in fact exist.

Guess I'm not the only one getting the glitch. Glad to see my bug report was pretty much a useless venture then.

I'm going to do what you said about calling them outside the wards, and just strip them down.

See if I can get two fresh retainers and not have the issue again, but I probably will. I've had a lot of traffic on both my retainers. I wonder if that has something to do with the issue or if my random luck is just that bad.

Most of the time for me when it would occur is when there a connection lag or the ward is heavily crowded. Seeing as how most of the UI depends on server response, I think the server probably gets congested or just glitches up and leaves you in limbo like that. lol

I don't getting new retainers would fix the problem. Possibly just putting them in less crowded wards might avoid the bug.

Yeah I went ahead and moved them. Problem is that 90% of what I sell are fish, but I guess I have no choice except to eat the additional tax.
