I'm basing them off my main/retired jobs and their current/artifact/relic/empyrean armor(s) hehe...sam I may revisit for Empy armor version at a later time.

I can always try my hand at other jobs too but first I want to make some char's based off my favorite animals. I already got a wolf, next I want to make one based on a cheetah or puma, and a hawk/falcon. Karura and Garuda fit the bill nicely for a bird type so gonna go for those first...er, no not the Garuda summon lol
Karura is a japanese eagle-man buddhist creature. Garuda is a hindu deity thats a giant eagle.
Although...Hmmm, I wonder...some of the summons might actually be feasible! All except Carby, Levi, and Alex...I'll have to try them out sometime this week!

You did a great job on those jobs, I like what you did with the DRG, good thinking! The MNK looks great too, good use of stickers! They all look great, nice job =)
Is there some menu to adjust skirt lengths and whatnot? I was looking at making a dancer but all the skirts are too long/ugly. Then again I am level 8... I take it you get more stuff later?
Nope, no way to change the length of skirts, sadly. I know way later you get a lot more skirts to pick from, one being short short I think gotten around level 40?
I almost think I should wait until I am higher level to make a custom character. Still trying to learnify the finer points of adding stickers in order to make different patterns.

Just saw this thread today. Sooo many awesome edits, I especially like Knyte's Empy MNK, and Arlem's Maat (obviously!) and Empy BLU. Very inspiring stuff.
First up is my own version of drk. Tried to get it as close to the original as possible. He even comes with his own Ragnarok.
Next up comes bst since I've only seen 1 other bst posted. This one was a little harder to get the right parts for but I got it as close as I could.
Last up we have my own artistic take on blu. This one I focused a lot less on making it match and just kinda winged it. Should redo it as a female just because some of Lexia's movements make him look, um "Fabulous"

Every Soul Calibur game (since 3, at least) has had really good parts for making Final Fantasy XI jobs. I remember they had something that strongly resembling Leaping Boots in SC3, and I remember making a perfect replica of Warrior AF in SC4.
You know, I LOVE how in this game they made the majority of the gear available for both genders. Was always so frustrated in 3 and 4 when I had a design in mind, but it needed parts from both genders.
So Soul Calibur 5 came out a little while ago and we decided to work on some custom characters that looked like our characters and jobs on FFXI. We made a few and I wanted to share them on here. Feel free to give feedback on how I can improve them, or share your own characters made after XI characters!
