Animated Shield

Hi everyone!

I recently obtained Aegis and have started on the trials. I'm currently on the final trial which is to defeat Animated Shield 10 times. Now, I was wondering if anyone knows if there are more and/or stronger Satellite Shields, that I can farm for Goads, other than the EP ones. The drop rate on the EP ones is abysmal just like everything EP, lol.

It's all good. BST owns it hard.

You should have next to no problem getting all 10 in 2hrs.

That highly depends on droprate-luck I'd say :P

I had such a horrible time with Goublefaupe. The drop rate on those pops were just horrible even with PlaceboHunter 7+.

Just to add salt on the wounds, he did go 5/5 on shield papers. When I was farming him and I needed the paper, I went 1/6...

Let's see how Animated Shield goes ><! On the upside Xarc TE's are easier compared to Beaucedine, lol.

Get a Thf friend and camp/kill all the Shields near the Aegis Pop spot. You'll have no trouble getting enough pops to complete.

Just an update.

I completed 10 Animated Shield kills today. Even had 30min to spare so we killed a Kunai for a friend.

What worked for us was PLD BST THF. The THF and me went to work on farming goads while the BST popped and killed shield with pet. Shield bash won't aoe you if your pet is targeted. Its sleepga, however, will. We assisted the BST once we were full on goads being careful not to take hate from the pet.
