Do you know how to freak out Mormons when they conveniently come a courtin' during a barbecue or another get-together?

Make sure that there are kids running around, a few gals, and have only one man visible when you answer the door. When they proceed to give their spiel, tell them that you live "the principle", and they will turn tail and run!

Good times trolling Mormons! =)

Oh, 'Big Love' you were a great inspiration!
Too elaborate/complicated.. I'd just shut the door in their face while they're still talking.

Oh, this was just a right place right time situation for him to come rap-tap-tapping on the door of one of my friend's homes. The memory of his discomfort that was written all over his face was priceless!

With a husky you're more likely to be sniffed or licked to death. They do look intimidating though and that's about all that matters.

Besides, what's someone doing on someone elses property without permission?

This site isn't about open mindedness and free speech, all it is, is a place that atheists are allowed to be hypocrites for everything they claim to want. Where they are allowed to attack peaceful, God loving people simply because they don't share the same belief as them. Once again, that makes you no better than the Westboro Baptist Church.

He's found us out guys..
Final Fantasy XI's Atheist Home

Time to make a new website to lure in more unsuspecting religious folk.

In my case at least I fail to see how wanting illogical thought (ie: religion) to stop being accepted as OK is being a hypocrite. I thought I did my best to bash it as much as possible, apparently I need to step up my game.
And you feel good bashing religion bcuz...? you had a "if god really exists plz this has to happen" and didnt? you want magic tricks to buy your faith?

I can't speak for all, but I personally find it disconcerting that religious individuals perform "good deeds" (which are often suited to a fairly absurd moral code) in the name of God, instead of, you know, in the name of doing good deeds. The whole aspect of presumed reward makes Christian "morality" all too laughable for me.
Any christian that has enough knowledge on the bible will tell you that you can't buy a ticket to heaven through good deeds you haven't seen Constantine? lol and i think is more laughable that atheist keep tying religion with lack of intelligence ..i bet there are more nobodies atheists out there with bad jobs if any and poor knowledge
You just used a fictional movie as source material for your argument.. Just saying.
If you are atheist that shouldn't make any difference now would it?

the point he was trying to make is... using a work of fiction doesnt help prove your point. in fact, it makes you look like your grasping for things to argue with.

As much sense as that makes, it just doesn't work that way. I had a friend get sued because his dog bit someone who was trespassing on his porch, 5 feet from the front door.

Jerry Williams, of Little Rock, Arkansas, garnered 4th Place in the
Stella's when he was awarded $14,500 plus medical expenses after being bitten on the butt by his next door neighbor's beagle - even though the beagle was on a chain in its owner's fenced yard. Williams did not get as much as he asked for because the jury believed the beagle might have been provoked at the time of the butt bite because Williams had climbed over the fence into the yard and repeatedly shot the dog with a pellet gun.

I think he was just using it to help visualize an idea. Sometimes its hard to convey meaning on something so you use a medium to bridge the gap.

Curse you legal system, making me have to expend effort in telling people I'm not interested.

Honestly, I've never run into Mormons on my doorstep and the Jehova's Witnesses that come around every once in a while don't even bother anymore.

My college Christian group did take upon itself last week to pray for me and the other damned souls though. I kindly asked them to do something more constructive like buying the homeless guy a coffee outside or tutoring students for midterms as both could use the effort infinitely more than me.

If he was grasping for works of fiction, he could have just referenced the Bible.

Someone shoots my beagle with a pellet gun and getting bit on their silly butt will be the least of their worries. >< That's my daughter!
