[Dev] Which storyline did you like best?
Definitely WotG for me. Nation storylines weren't bad for their time (though Bastok was pretty boring, honestly). Zilart was also kinda cool when I did it (forever ago), but obviously even CoP made it look utterly pathetic. I actually liked CoP and ToAU almost evenly, but I'd say CoP wins out. WotG however, was truly amazing in every way.
As far as other storylines though... ACP was kinda bland to me. AMK was amusing. ASA was hilarious. Abyssea was mildly interesting. Haven't finished Voidwatch yet; it has the potential to be kinda interesting. (I just recently finished Jeuno T3, need to do T4-6 so I can see those cutscenes.) I'm definitely a sucker for storyline; it's why I'm a quest *** in addition to missions. (790 quests completed so far!) 101 votes...

WoTG. Nice storyline even if it was a bit stupid at some points. I liked the characters and the animations were pretty. Wasn't too long either.
CoP had *awful* characters and probably one of the most boring stories I've ever experienced in a game... It just dragged on too much as well. lol, CoP is almost 10 votes over WoTG :x
I like Sparthosx's post tho, agree with all of it and he got the order right before there were hardly any votes, which is cool

I've actually been working the last few days on recording the WotG main storyline (not the nations... we'll see if I do those eventually :P) for my own viewing pleasure mainly, but I've been uploading it to Youtube as well. And I can definitely vouch for the hours per expansion. I'm not even done recording all the missions yet and I've already got over 6 hours of video. That's just the MAIN storyline of WotG mind you; not including the nation storylines. But if anyone wants to watch, I've been putting them in a playlist here. Though of course, you have to deal with Youtube quality there. :P I know there is a guy who recorded the mission storylines in really high quality video, but I lost the bookmark to his site when I got a new computer. ;/

Thanks :) I'll take great pleasure in viewing these :D WOTG is my favorite bcuz in the CSs your char is a lot more involved than in the past expansions you talk,you fight, you face the evil in CSs and stand against it ...CoP and ToAU you just /panic or are a witness

That's a really hard choice... they took way too long to finish up WotG's missions, but going on story alone I think it was my favorite. Especially the ending scenes,
It's a shame a lot of FF fans immediately dismiss 11 just because it's online. I personally found the stories more memorable than any other game in the series, even without the huge production values and pre-rendered movies. WOTG.
Any storyline with good history is A+ in my book. Note: I haven't finished WotG yet, so my vote does not consider that.
I'd have to go with CoP. I remember really liking the story. I do think that Zilart/CoP should be grouped together though, since CoP is pretty much an extension of Zilart (though most of the 'meat' is in the Promathia missions). Though ToAU has a really kickass cutscene in the end. Is everyone forgetting how kickass King of Hearts was in ToAU? :(
