So I camped Khim today and his wings broke immediately and never repaired. Even waited for about 5 mins with no damage on him and they never fixed.
I ended up dying from fulmi but one of the blu left alive actually learned the spell. He never used it once. He's ls mate so I doubt he lied and i even had him cast it in front of me.
Planning to make a tyger set after that fight but I'm wondering if anyone else experienced the same.

Might be best off attempting to learn this Blue Magic from the Nyzul Isle version of Khimaira. Just an idea.
Hes lying or you didn't see the ws go off, if it never used you won't learn it. Don't melee it until it does tourbillion so you don't risk breaking the wings. I had a blu I was with in the FL assault use 1 dmg clubs and broke the wings, just use spells (not heavy strike or CA certain spells).

The FL Assault Bellaphoon's Bliss is a good way to learn it tho the goblin has to roll a 1-1 to get him to do the move which is a 1/36 chance. Makes it somewhat frustrating but I think it's the easiest option.
Outside that you're left with Nyzul which you will have a 1/3 chance to have ~10mins to get the mob to use the move, TOAU Shantoto mission which means you have to have someone on the mission and have them exit the mission before shantoto 2hrs and destroys the khim, ZNM Khimmy, or just camp khim.

He has no reason to lie, he was even in the middle of something and dropped it to run to khim. As soon as it was killed he said "wow i learned it". Was there myself the whole time and never saw tourbillion used.
Someone said the same thing earlier for GoH where our cerb didnt use it once (we all forgot floor 60 version doesnt use it).
would save a lot of headaches.. might even go and try blu on apadamak and see if i learn lol
Prob only spells that need UL active or HNM mob spells that this works, never heard of this before and kinda doubt they changed it so it works for all spells I think this was intentional and not a glitch. Also i imagine everyone is going 1/1 - 1/3 on these new HNM spells from what ive experienced so perhaps if they do use the tp move too there is higher learn rate than other non HNM spells.

Point is there isnt as screenshot of him using it, have to screenshot whole fight to prove he didnt use it and still learnt it.
I meant the guy who claims to have learned the spell, though obviously the whole thing is pretty suspect regardless. >99% chance one person or the other is wrong about what happened in that fight.

I dont understand, someone posts saying they learnt the spell even though khim didnt use the tp move and screenshotted them learning it with several other people also testifying that it didnt use tourbillion. Then you said "screenshot of him using it?" ... there wouldnt be a screenshot of him using it though because the point is he didnt use it but the spell was still learnt. Same thing someone in my group experienced with a cerb I fought earlier and GoH. It might be a glitch but its not suspect, nothing in my log was missed it 100% didnt use GoH.
You can't learn a spell w/o the mob using it, someone is wrong here or there's a glitch.
Yes we know thats already been established, 2 parties witnessed it though so its either intentional or a glitch, we arent both wrong.

I notice sometimes certain monsters abilities do not show up in the chat log when you have certain filters up a few I noticed were Ballistic kick, Gates of Hades Fulmination, Tourbillion, I know there are a few more. Its been that way since I started the game just certain chat filters you will not see it say Cerberus readies Gates of hades. Check your filters.
Another ls mate was tanking, he never saw it either or received the defense down effect. The wings never returned to normal but some other idiots were still beating on it so the wings never had a chance to repair. they got off at ~25% so maybe it was already in fulmi mode.
Other night, me and 3 other BLUs attempted to learn Toubillion from AU22: Shield of Diplomacy. Entered the mission 10 times, and Tourbillion was used 8/10. No-one learned the spell though. Is this extremely bad luck on our parts, or is it not possible to learn the spell from this NM? I asked several people, and they said you should be able to learn spells from mission NMs. I can also confirm that the finishing blow was dealt by a party member, and not Shantotto.
