How can i boost my sam now and capp haste? only think i can do i guess is find a phos +1 to get +8 haste on belt without loosing anything else, any advice?

This set will be better than what you currently using if you're sitting@24% haste and 5-hit.
For Shoha, you need to WS in Rose Strap/Rajas at minimum to keep 5-hit. But you can optimize this TP set with this: Obvious upgrades are Phos+1 (caps haste), Tenryu Tekko+1 (augments). But both of those are very expensive, and rare in aquisition. You're only 0.4% haste off melee cap using these sets. What's the consensus on Beir +1 vs WS Belt vs Windbuffett?

Quick question for a new post 75 sam. I currently have no WS body piece post 75 (lolosode) and honestly the likely hood of me getting phorcy's is higher than me getting ace's mail or twilight. So I was wondering what would be a decent body piece for ws during the interim between now and me getting phorcys?
Would it be avant mail +1 for the dblattk? Or am I missing something else Avant Mail +1 is perfectly fine in most/all situations until you land a Phorcys.

In a TP set they could be nice. idk the math on the Zanshin but they are definitely viable in a TP set.
At this point you're comparing less than 1% haste so I'd think they're a win. WOuld a 99 masa beat a stardiver sam? Even on fodder? This is basically deciding if I make 99 masa or another empy 99.

Test the zanshin rate. MNK Staff no DA,TA,QA gear, blind pots? Without knowing the zanshin rate its hard to determine if they are viable or not. Chances are Brego/Tekko are better.

Maybe Avant Gauntlets +1 if acc is an issue on ws. I'm sure someone will say elemental belt over Windbuffet as well and I thought Unkai Sugemino was consensus for back slot for tp and ws. I did fine with a similar set when I had to fill in for one of our regular dd's. I excluded Nyzul gear for obvious reasons.
Edit - To go along with Kyte, Ganesha's Mala if your accuracy is capped as well. Windbuffet beats elemental if your accuracy is capped.
Shura Zunari Kabuto +1 with 4 str 3 WS dmg augment vs Mekira-Oto +1, which is better?
Mekira-oto +1, but keep the kabuto for kaiten.

On his, he got an augment of 4 str with the 3% WSDMG if I'm reading that correctly. So I wasn't talking about the STR on the piece itself, just the random stat aug from synergy.

Yeah, for Kaiten only. I can't expect to get 4 str and 3% WSDMG on my shura head :x
Capped attack kabuto should be better. I assume you wouldn't use kaiten unless your attack is capped if you have shoha.
Same would apply to Fudo as well, ya?
