any info on the type of things that can come from this? armor / materials / weapons / spells so on, am interested in this, and could be a way of getting things some people don't have time / ability to do on there own, or lacking the friends, shell mates to do it, like getting Black Belt items for a high amount of points, or something, or is it just going to be fireworks all the time.....

People are still updating and you want to know something that requires at least a week of playtime to find out...(since you need to build up points for higher rewards).

never know with .dat files so on people can tend to find out where things come from or if related sometimes without acually having to do it, i don't want an exact list of every item that can come from it, was just wondering if anyone knew anything about it, or if they have seen (maybe from test server since it was there............) so on..... why waste your time posting back when you have no info

It was there on the test server, I obtained a Platinum beastcoin from the chest that looks like gold boxes from abyssea when I was playing the gobby's minigame.

It was on the test server, and people did test it. But the results then were piss poor and were crap items. If I remember right, the results were on the Test Server thread. Memory isn't so hot at the moment though.

The items on the test server were placebos and just put in to test the actual mechanics and dialog. If you really were interested in this you would have known this weeks ago.
Why do people spam update day with threads asking for this and that and have everything handed to them on a silver platter? and yet add absolutely nothing of value to the community.

Isn't that the daily reward system?

The items on the test server were different from the official release, it was mentioned in the dev post.

You trade them junk and get other junk.. or something like that. :/ looks more like a novelty thing than something useful.

Most expensive thing I got told as a possible drop on main server is Scroll of Erase. The only one that showed up on every potential list of 3 was Zinc Ore. :)

Quoting is awesome! Oh the things we'd miss if deleting posts really saved your tail. Haha, no. Although SE does some things that definitely make me scratch my head in confusion, I can't quite picture them taking a serious, time consuming, job-defining quest line and just giving it away in random boxes.

And really, out of all of the things they could put in there... Black Belt items? /sigh, indeed!

was something random that is actually something i hear people complain about trying to get, not saying they would give it away, if each cost 365 points and get 1 point a day would take a year to get, not a realistic way of gaining them just an other way of possibly getting something useful is what was meant by it, i could have said Emp Weapon items or something else it's just what came to mind for the point of actually being useful items and not crap.

and a side note, how is it job defining...know people with 3/3 items and never lvled mnk....

So three years for all Black Belt items? In that case, sure.

I was thinking more along the lines of a random change at an item... my bad.

That's exactly the point. Even people who don't play monk, and end up with the items, are kind of likely to hold on to them just in case. Plus, I said quest line. If you know someone who accidentally killed Boodtear Baldorf and Steelfleece Baldarich then accidentally talked to the right npc, then accidentally got a Nue Fang, Dodo Skin and Molborger Vine, and again accidentally talked to the right npc, then accidentally got a beard, egg, and tongue, then yet one more time accidentally talked to the right npc, let me know. Getting a black belt not a big part of being a monk? Really? Then tell me what is.

I wish it was something like.. trade your junk for points and once you have enough you can trade gear to have it randomly augmented. (like 30 points for level 30 gear.. and so on) That sounds neat.. imo anyway.

Don't have one myself or I'd check if there's any difference in item quality. :x
