I persoanlly feel the PS2 and xbox versions were not perfect. The Dreamcast Version was the perfect Arcade port. When I played the xbox version I found that if your opponent jumped over you and hit the assist button while in the air making his assist hit you from the opposit side you can block the assist but if your oppenent attacks you while you are blocking his assist after he lands on the other side of you you stop blocking and take both hit regardless of standing block or crouching block. (glitch if you ask me) My friends and I stoped playing that version altogether. Im glad Capcom decided to make thia new version based on the Dreamcast verion which was as perfect to the arcade version as you can get.
God I fcking looooove this game! I had to sell mine ages ago after I broke my mp3 player in a drunken spill, I still miss it ; ; Capcom Snk 2 took more skill, but wasn't as fun. button mashers could still have a blast with this game, and it had pretty ADHD friendly colors. In short: this game = win. I may have to get a 360 now...
TBH, I haven't been into fighting games since Street Fighter II Turbo and Mortal Kombat. Used to play Killer Instinct back in the day but always got my *** pwnt by some random 7 year old that knew a 115 hit combo, so gave that up real quick lol
Wait, wait, wait... Is it going to be the arcade version or the console version? Because the background music on the console games royally pissed me off. =\
Arcade games onry! And personally I'll be more excited if they release the old X-Men arcade game on XBL. That would be legendary.
