Quick Question

i find myself with time to pick up an MMO again.
so my question is this:

how is XIV these days? has it remained f2p or is it back to a payment game?

eh... about 80% of the threads made here ask this, so chances are this thread may be locked by a mod. but XIV is currently free to play still, it will go to monthly billing in December after the next big patch. MUCH has changed and been added, like i said its f2p atm so just try it out and see how you like it. also go to lodestone, there is a massive amount of info about 2.0, which will be the complete revamp of the game that's coming out next year
