FFXIV Delivery Box

Is there a sort of delivery box where I can transfer gear/money etc between characters?

No, currently there is no delivery box in the game. However, a dev posted on the official forums that there is a delivery system planned for a future update,.. but that won't be for a really long time...

Currently the only possible way to transfer items from one character to another who are both on the same account is by trading the items to a player outside of said account, then having that player trade to your other character.

Either find someone trustworthy or set retainers in the wards and buy from yourself (and take a slight gil loss).

1Year away 2.0 update it seems:(

If you look at the timeline in the roadmap for 2.0 they will finish the delivery system by December. Will likely be out before 2.0.

If you are brave enough and quick, you can sell and buy things between two characters on the same account.

-You can put some things in character 1's retainer's bazaar for 1 gil.
-Switch to Character 2 and buy said items for 1 gil each.
-Switch back to character 1.
-Repeat.

This can be disastrous if someone is walking by and randomly checks your bazaar, sees a lot of stuff for 1 gil and buys them all before you can get switched over.

If you want to transfer money from one character to another...

-Put something a little value, like a shard, in character 2's retainer for however much money you want to trasnfer.
-Switch to character 1, and buy said shard.
-Character 2 now has a lot of money. (minus taxes)

According to the pdf files, we might get a Delivery-system / Mailing system before end of this year. (Or atleast according to the diagrams).

So the possibility of this will be in Patch 1.20 / 1.21.
