SMN Skill Ups

hey peeps struggling to get skill up atm whats the fastest
method of getting smn skill ups apart from spellcast because i use
xbox 360 lol the method im using now aint that good just sitting in Empyreal paradox with atmas on and summon/release and using a BP ward every few min but getting 40 - 90 in 7 hours is along time
and prob about to take longer lol so if you got any tips i would appreciate the help thanks :)

Not sure what better method you expect than what you are already doing.

I have found BP: Rage to give the best skill-ups. Get into an abyssea pt, and spam both Rage and Ward. Also, since you will be doing stuff it will be less boring.

Go to Abyssea - Uleguerand with MM+Regen Atmas. Summon Diabolos -> Nether Blast(Night Terror) -> Somnolence on worms. All they do is cast and you'll just regen the HP back anyway so you won't be in any real trouble.

Nether blast+somnolence on a skillup mob as fast as your rage and ward timers let you.

In my experience, skill ups happen faster when you are actively playing the job. Doing BPs on mobs and BPs on yourself have always skilled me up faster than afk summoning outside WG or the past.

Might have been luck, but I noticed the skillups were coming a lot faster when I was capping SMN skill at 95. Took two nights of spirit spamming rather than a week.

Wasn't there a new skill up food that came out this update?

I read that none of the skill up foods work with summoning magic

I just got the new Liminus Earring, and it doesn't seem to work with Smn skill ups either
Will be using it for bard/blm soon though.

Well back in the day we used to stand outside of our home town and smn skills would only happened when summoning your pet. With the updates, BP now count towards your skills. So your best bet would be to do what they said on prior posts. Abys. Ulg. on worms would be your best bet.

For summoner's who are serious about the job they can also work on some of the "Perpetuation Staves." You can get a lot of skill ups just playing the job while killing monsters for your trial (mostly inside Abyssea). Kills two birds with one stone.

Well i sat in Windurst S outside my mog house and just summon/ released every smn i had with macros and when was out mp zone and come back out got almost full cap on my 75 smn took me about 3 nights that way.
