Hell no, I wont pay

Voted for no. Game still not ready for customers to be billed yet. Plus, I really don't think people are looking forward to pay 12 bucks as it was on XI. If they reduce the price maybe, they'll get more customers and subscribers.

Tell squenix you're ready to pay, stop getting free ***. Seems like a win win.

Making the game better isn't free, especially entirely new servers. I will definitely pay. If you don't want to pay, you won't be able to play the game.

At the risk of sounding like an ***, this will only serve to weed out the "F2P'ers" which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The DEV team will finally be able to focus on feedback from loyal players that actually PLAY this game and want to see it succeed.

The fact that SE is even willing to go as far as to rework the game in its entirety is enough for me. Not to mention the fact that they openly admit they made a huge mistake, which is at least something.
I'm personally willing to pay, and if you're at all shocked at the idea of having to pay for a "beta" that's been free for the last year, then you really do not understand how much this game has cost them already.

They're willing to take the time an effort to rectify the old DEVteam's mistakes at the risk of either succeeding, or alienating their playerbase. Its a huge gamble, but in their eyes its worth a shot. I look forward to 2.0 and will support them on their way to it.

If you don't want to pay to play it, then why are you even playing to begin with? You obviously don't have much faith in it, so quit and wait until 2.0

This free trial extension thing lasted much longer than I had thought. If you don't enjoy the game when it goes P2P, then don't play. Come back later or don't.

exactly we been playing this for a year now for free. even if the games wasnt finish i enjoy the hell out of it. im ready to pay as long as its not like $25 a month then i might have to drop the wifes account lol.

You got the beta for free for an entire year. In another year you'll have the game as it should have been on release. I suggest just not playing then picking it up again in a year when it might be good again.

I completely agree with that, if you're just looking for a free to play MMO 14 is no longer going to be the place to do it. People who are willing to pay at this stage in the game obviously care about its success and are going to be the best source for feedback.

Having it free would suck. But reduced billing fee would make more sense and would encourage new and continuing players to stay.

Um yeah i read everything a couple days ago but i believe they said they reinstate pay for a while then when ps3 beta is out it will be free for another short while. They deserve this! Granted when they get it right they could bring in the fortune they originally dreamed, but honestly without their hickups a noob like me would have never gotten such a good seat! So yay <3 SE Love your work always!

This isn't the era where you're going to make a game with hopes and dreams that is going to come out polished. Not to mention it doesn't please to the FF franchise fans. It's not like it was supposed to be F2P in the beginning and you're lucky it was for so long(especially if that's the only reason you're playing it).
