just FYI, if your having issues with paypal or your regular credit card your probably having problems with your account in general, A few people including myself are having this issue (reason given by ultimatepay is because of fraud).

You'll be wasting your card if you use it on your account. If your not having this issue then forget what I said.

I use a greendot prepaid MasterCard I got at the grocery store. After buying the temporary card, you just go online and register it and whatever amount of money you put in the account will show up.
I didn't link it to my PayPal or anything. Just entered the card info regularly after picking Ultimate Pay. ClickAndBuy were being bastids.

You do not have to hook the Ultimate game card up to a paypal acount.

click add crysta
choose how much
choose ultimate buy option
click on ultimate game card tab at top of page
enter pin from card
done

Yesterday I tried to buy crysta with my credit card and my card was rejected. Are there any way to buy crysta without dealing with Ultimate Pay? Since I've heard lots of problem with Ultimate pay. Buying crysta from C&B with my CC also doesn't work, again I have no idea why ._.

Is it possible to just get a prepaid card and use direct payment instead of dealing with C&B and Ultimate pay ._., or is 3D secure still a problem for prepaid card?

Every charge for crysta goes through Ultimate Pay, or C&B. The only thing I can tell you, is to try and run it through Moneybookers(Or whatever the hell they call themselves these days) That worked for me last time I had to get some Crysta.

Regarding Crysta
Due to legal hiccups, the Add Crysta option will not be displayed on certain Square-Enix accounts(based on country of registration). If your account is registered in one of those countries, you cannot buy crysta. This cannot be changed in any way, unfortunately.

Regarding Credit Card Errors
UltimatePay(which also processes every credit card transaction on SE site) has a strike-based fraud prevention system. If your credit card is from a region too far away from your current IP, you'll get a strike. Every time you try to enter it to get past the error, you'll get another strike. Each strike will block your card for a preset amount of time. I don't know how long these take to wear off, or what the cap is, but I do know it's at least 2 weeks. If you keep trying, you're just making it worse.

Regarding Click&Buy
Your Click&Buy region must match your SE region. IE: European C&B can only pay for European SE accounts. Likewise for NA. I understand they're a shady company, but unless you don't trust your bank to assist with any bad charges, it's probably the best bet. I haven't personally been ripped off by them, nor do I know anyone who has firsthand, but there are plenty of safeguards for credit card fraud these days anyway.

Just what I've learned dealing with them recently. Hopefully it's of some help, their billing is a shitshow.

I've bought crysta with same CC before with C&B and Ultimate pay, just that it doesn't work anymore(have no idea why!). Was wondering if I can just go get another prepaid card and use them....
