Unbelievable

So I'm soloing karkadann onBST and things going well so on and so forth. Anyway bout 50% my ISP decides that's a pimp time to do maint. Long story short I lost a pop and got bootes from abyss when I got back. So what's your just unf***ingbelievable moment? The one you sit in dumbfounded awe saying "really? Right now? This had to happen now!!!!??"

I quit the game 1 year ago and deleted my Square Enix + FFXI account yesterday because I was like "meh I dont play it anymore anyways". Today 2 RL friends came and said the want to play again and test the new updates. This kinda was my "this had to happen now!!!??" moment lol (but I didnt have any addons anyways and heard that the new ultimat edition with all addons is cheap and I heard lvling is faster now, so I might still give it a try again~ offtopic)

I actually get that ***all the time.. I could be doing anything useful that I've been waiting weeks to finally do and something happens to mess it all up or prevent me from doing it.

If you did it yesterday, call up SE and tell them there was an accident, I deleted my Square-enix account when I got banned thinking it was perma, found out it was not 4 days later and I deleted it 2 days after the ban had happened, so you can still recover your account lol.

Ran out of Shihei after soloing this NM for 1 hour, 20 minutes.

also, a bs moment for me: solo'd ks99 merc, tongue dropped happy customer + happy me w/ behe PI. To behe domain I go, see group afk with no bazaar's up and no behe title. I pop my behe, soon, like litrally as soon as I pop, xbox overheats and turns off, which was bs coz I wasn't logged on for long. Anyway, I put a fan on it, log on, see the "afkers" w/ behe title+savory shank in bazaar. /sigh.

Back in 2005 I was ready to attempt Maat for the 5th time as Tarutaru PLD 70 and was finally able to get a DD set from ls members at the time. I enter the BCNM and my computer warns me that It's shutting down in 5 minutes to do maintenance >_< I get Maat down to about 20%, have no more potions or mp, but i have enough for one last Vorpal Blade. Computer shuts off right then.

I spend the next 30 minutes waiting for my computer to finish loading up again. I log on to find myself at 16 hp with a Warp scroll and the tital for finally beating that jerkface.

I camped Argus a while ago, I didn't know the ToD, but I was waiting for well over 12 hours.
The doorbell rang.
I RAN upstairs, opened the door for my mother, came back downstairs, AND ARGUS WAS CLAIMED.

I was literally gone for less than a minute, and some schmuck got the NM.

i was camping argus for a week, and finally he poped i ran to provoke him and my screen turns black for like 1-2 seconds and he was claimed..

Dc'ed back when AF3 Feet were hard to get @_@

Husband and I duo shinryu twice as mnk and whm, blue proc both times with just aeroja and lynx meat dropping, I go to work and my husband solo brews shinryu twice as thf without procs, first time knife and body, second time scythe.....

I alt+Tab'd out of my first two Maat fights trying to hit my stun macro (Alt+1) back when the very thought of Minimizing your screen in FFXI was criminal. (2005 I think?)

I tried soloing Shinryu not understanding the concept of his wings. I think I lost like 800,000 cruor that way. /grumble

About 3 years ago I used to camp those cudgels for WHM on the Selbina to Mhaura ship fairly frequently, with horrible luck. After about 4 or 5 runs back and forth, the NM finally spawns. Now at this point, I am about 0/20+ on ANY club, we proceed to kill. To my dismay, a club drops, I am ecstatic! I call my friend over who was playing on a TV across the room, he runs over to see, trips over the power cord and DC's me. I come back, and the club had dropped. I still never got one of those clubs.

Doing the new dynamis-xarc. 1 minute remaining and random d/c right as Whm gloves drop. Log back in just to be kicked with no gloves. Oh well I guess nothing that important was lost anyways.

A long time ago, soloing Apollyon on my gimp rdm mule. Had finally gotten to elemental floor and it was dark ele. After a annoying fight vs 3 of them, as I'm running to the chest with 2 minutes left inside... I die to bio w/o RR on :|

When Nyzul was first introduced and the gear was still sought after, I am in a group on a 20 boss. We finish the boss with just enough time to lot and leave. Goliard drops and I win the lot, but the leader of the group was too slow in the brain to drop the dead person from the party. The boots hit the floor.

I have a picture of it on my profile page. At the time, it was pretty heartbreaking.
