It sounds like an isolated issue at the moment, since Lakshmi is currently the only server down. It's been awhile since Lakshmi had an isolated world crash, so I guess we were just due for one.

i remember back on 2004-2005 the servers getting lots of DoS attacks from hackers, AH going down for very long time with search failure messages almost all days.
