Bard Mule Help

Should I be spamming double marches or vic+min on my brd mule? Im mainly on NIN or WAR mainly for emp farming.

Double marches all the time, assuming you're in Abyssea.

If you're in VW then use Scherzo and March.

Use carols when and if needed.

I think general consensus has always been double march, that's what I prefer.

The only time you wont want marches is when your -delay is capped.

which is a little rare in the sense, but its hard to really go wrong with double marches. Careful with carol of course.

if all you are doing is abyssea farming it up, double march it. The march/minuet split takes away from your dot. People think min/march is a good combo when really it isn't

or you could be awesome with a daurdabla and have 2x march AND minuet. *wink wink*

ok so for those with brd mules, how are you handling both songs casting? autoexec, spellcast?

I've never used autoexec before. I have an xml for my alt but all it does is handle gear changes. I have a follow keyboard macro and a few other tools but for the most part I do everything manually with standard macros. I just like to have control of what I'm doing. Trying to automate stuff can help in many cases but depending on what you're doing, it might be your downfall when you're dying/get a status effect that could kill you and you start casting an 8 second song.

I do have chatmon toss me a warning when songs or other buffs wear because I can't watch my alt's yarnball timers when I'm not on her.

Double march all the time with exceptions for very special cases only. If a mob uses many specific elemental attacks then I'll do a carol or double carols if it's really a survival issue. If they use any attack that does massive damage then scherzo is win. If you're acc isn't capped on high eva mobs then madrigals might help. I rarely use other buffs.
