Not sure if this is answered already(didn't read every page ><), but no, Dark shot won't increase the dmg of Leaden Salute:

Leaden salute done after dark shot didnt have dmg increase when I tried, that means you gonna spam other elemental dmg shots and lost staff bonus.

Unless you're kiting with QD and no time to WS, or unless your triple shot is up and focus on /ra DPS, it's hard to imagine DP will beat Arma even outside of abby, and that's not counting the situation that you using physical WS or melee for TP, or situations you're getting a lot of regain from roll/gear. Which favors Arma even more.

Also part of advantage WF has it's the strategic value, it's low enmity, so it may be very useful in certain situation. Arma is generally more versatile and useful in more situations while DP is more situational...even if you get both it's still likely that you'll use empy most of the time.

Leaden salute really need a LOT of WS dmg boost for DP to compete with Arma IMO.

I got nothing, which is what I really wanted. I swore that if I won nothing in this bonanza I will finally quit FFXI (aka take a break).

If I had won something nice and shiny FFXI would have owned my soul forever.

I have some Rank 4 Marbles on mules, but I cannot decide on Love Torque or Wyrm Beard. Any info on Dboxing these? I don't want to just get the N Helm.

Won three last place prizes, but I already have most of the statues and my mog is overstuffed with them. I'll have to look at the prizes again, but I might just /toss.

I was 1 digit off from a 2nd place prize! I had 6860, and the right number was 0860. So close!

It's hard to get mad at this event though. It's a lottery. The chances of winning are dismal, so I never expect to win. I play because it's a fun side game with a slight chance of awesome at the end. ^^

Throw away your losing marbles and you magically have +inventory.
