Every Blue Mage has a small handful of spells that are/were a bit*h to learn. Post which you had the biggest headache obtaining or are still trying to get.
Mine so far are:
Maelstrom (just cant learn it! ugh!)
Auroral Drape (took 40 mobs to learn)
Heat Breath (they have way too many TP moves)
Metallic Body (took a week to get)
Wild Carrot(they didnt want to use it)
Feather Barrier (see above)

disseverment, tried for hours on 3 occassions and never got it
winds of promyvion, same never got it Cocoon.
Just. Ugh. Oh, and Bad Breath. Blm has alot of "ugh" spells too. All of the AM II's, for example. I hope SE fixes those. They were very hard earned and are garbage now in lieu of Tier V.
Only one for me was subzero smash, the rest I got in 5 tries or fewer.

i made an almace before i leveled blu so i was liek OMG I"LL GET EVERY SPELL AND LOVE THIS JOB LIKE A BABY

Healing Breeze..took all day, winds of promy irksome also

Take a Soultrapper and snap a pic, on the plate it lists its job. Also, take a lvl 75 player and have them check it, if it says High Evasion chances are its a THF type. Death Scissors and Eyes on Me. Just getting them to use it was a pain, but they were being stubborn about giving it to me too, even when they did use it.

Of course this was back way before abyssea so I would get 2 levels in an exp party and go farm any new spells I unlocked and so on, so I'd be fighting those mobs of roughly the same level as me, no just spam dia and faceroll :/. For the majority I loved farming new spells, the sense of accomplishment you got when you saw "X learned X-move!" when the mob died was just so awesome. Having all spells makes me sadface I can't do it again...maybe I should make my mule level blu.

Oh and Head Butt. Took me about 2 hours before realizing it came from Quadavs and not Mandies, then went to go learn it from the ones in konschtat and went like 1/3. >__> Healing Breeze. Seriously.
Occultation gave me some ***too.

Regeneration Healing Breeze Everyone's Grudge Sub-Zero Smash Cocoon Auroral Drape To name a few, but the feeling of victory after learning awkward spells makes it all worth it! Wild Oats. Took me 3 days and the slaughter of hundreds of mandies.
Other than that I guess Occulation and Magic Fruit really sucked. Metallic body :<
