As someone who has speed hacked, map out what you think is the most efficient route and watch anyone who deviates from it very closely. I'd take a slightly inefficient route and the moment nobody is looking crank it up to 25-50%. That's very true Daemun but I try to not entice as much as possible so when it does happen I can just sit back and enjoy the drama torama.
You're a badass for sponsoring this, but GL getting people w/o flee hacks.
One of the coolest things i've ever done in this game was a lvl 1 footrace from sandy to bastok! never seen another one since.

As a sack holder for profit and a dev for windower, I can see signs of tool usage easier than most normal players. Soo try to cheat. You wont win.

It is fun and I'm grateful to have people watching my back in my LS like Hyshio. We (I at least) have a lot of fun doing these. I probably shout more than I need to but w/e those on Ragnorak know I'm not afraid to throw some 4~9 liners up in /shout.

You could always have leaders in the alliance level sync their party to prevent people using a higher job and to allow people who don't have a level 20 job participate.
