Just read about this.
I don't mind saying, I'm DEVASTATED.

Having grown up in the 80's and on wrestling, and still being somewhat of a wrestling fan today, The Macho Man was a HUGE part in all that.
Beyond the wrestling and the Slim Jim commercials, He was also an accomplished voice-over actor and screen actor.

World just lost a HUGE Personality today.
I'm I'm truly sad that he is gone :(

It's one of those personalities that was always there growing up for me...Wrestling when I was to little to know it's face. Then still in slim jims. It truly is sad to see him go.

Yeah, just heard on the news myself. Don't remember much about wrassling in the late 80s/early 90s, but Macho Man was one of the biggest names out there. Wrestling lost a true legend today =/

I'm sad and all but did you see how red his face was and how his veins stuck out? His eyes were always bloodshot in those Slim Jim commercials. The guy was pouring steroid milk all over his creatine cheerios for 30 years :/ I'm glad he almost made it to 60. T.T

I imagine he will now almost automatically be inducted in to the WWE Hall of Fame next year. Word is that he already was going to be "the big name" for next year, but now it's going to come across like he's just getting in because he died... which sucks. I wish he and Vince had been able to iron out the bad blood between them before it had to come about like this.

True True. WWE's "ownership" of the Hall of Fame make it so tooo many good wrestlers who gave heart and soul will never be inducted.
Escpecially if you're on the WWE's bad side.

Ah this is sad for sure...he entertained so many millions over his career. Whether face or heel, he was a great showman and had such a commanding presence.

I did always find it mind-blowing how Leaping Lanny Poffo was his brother...they never performed together on anything.
