I read you can get it In the mines last night, but they did something to the mines during the e. Maintenance last night. So my question is can we still get the ring there?
Yes.
The only thing they did to those zones was adjust what Aggroes/Links there. For instance, in outer Horutoto Ruins, The Bats no longer link. They made it easier for us ;o Brown Casket rate still sucks *** What Mines?
Is there a list somewhere of the items that can be obtained through brown caskets in the newly added trials?

Idk I'd like to know if there is anywhere that has much info on the new stuff. That isn't all over the place like BG. Because wiki doesn't even have a page for pretty much anything in the update let alone info on it. Zam has pages on a bit of it but no info... Bahamut.Dasva said: Grounds of valor? I haven't checked much about Voidwatch tbh. No surprise WIki doesn't have info about either. While I'm not suprised on low info I expected to at least pages made by now...
It comes from a brown coffer dropped from EP mobs in Zeruhn Mines.
My ring was acquired after the maintenance. GoV participation is not required in order to get the drop. (I did not have a page active when I got mine.) However, as a reward for completing pages you may receive battle enhancements called Prowess. The casket discovery & treasure hunter powers seem nice. Prowess does not wear off until you leave the zone, in fact I still had mine on after logging off in Z.mines for the maint.

ya i got my ring from their was their for 5min opened forst browm chest and got ring...guess i was lucky ^^
Can't get this ring :(
I did one regime in zeruhn, started having to voke-claim bats, left.
10hrs + now, Ring is a Myth and to much comp I am having to claim every bat like it is a NM ;-;
Think this ring is bad, I spent like, 2 days, combined ~15 hours in Outer Horutoto Ruins for the "Rare" item there just to find out what it is...
and nothing! Got like 20 Brown boxes or so in the 15 hours of time i spent there (estimating). hrrrng. I don't ask for much, But it would be nice if they could increase the rate of these chests just a teensie bit -.- Just wait for the kupower "Treasure casket: Bastok", the drop rate will go up drastically.

9h farming, in the end i had treasure casket finder level 3. takes a lot of patience and luck but the ring it worth it

How much does it boost your skillups? <_> I havent had much of an issue skilling up, all it takes is a few cruor parties >_< Just imagine, in those 9+ hours you people are wasting time farming this stupid ring that has like a 1% increase to skill rate gain, you could be capped already lol.
