nothing I love more than to offer help to someone who is crying and then even more people cry. what's the point of crying if people aren't willing to take advice?

I don't really have comments on the Heaven's Tower business, but as of last night on Odin, Port Jueno congestion wasn't bad. I was there for a few minutes to grab a Prishe statue and hand in kindred crests and high crests. There was no trouble or getting booted out of the zone. It was a bit laggy, but that's to be expected. We just doubled our server size, after all.

When my business there was finished I headed to Port Sandy for quicker trots to and from the delivery people and my mog to ship a ton of r/e stuff and there were a surprising number of folks in all three Sandy zones. I can't say on Windurst because I am not Windurstian anymore, but the de-congestion seems to be working as far as Sandy goes.

I am debating setting my homepoint in Sandy. Fewer people, less lag, and the same AH as Jeuno/Whitegate as well as still being able to get signet, store/retrieve gear sets, and still get to whatever abyssea zone I would like whenever I would like would be nice. I do still have to be in Jeuno for Limbus twice a week though, which is currently the only thing keeping me from straight-up resetting my homepoint. Maybe I'll have to level synergy and get that Duchy earring to fix that.

There's still no excuse to where they put the windy NPCs.

Its like putting the Bastok NPCs in Metalworks or something, it's just plain stupid.

Response as to why the Aby npc is in tower and not in another zone

While that may be true, they could have placed them nearer to either the Mog House, near the AH, or even near the exit of Windurst Waters.
No matter how you twist or turn it, Heaven's Tower really is an awkward spot for these NPCs. Them being in the Windurst Walls zone is fine, just the choice of placement seems rather poor.
They will adjust it some way or other I'm sure. Constructive criticism never really hurts anyone.

Heaven's Tower is where they put it because a PS2 couldnt' handle them anywhere else. But they should just remove bastion info and give us our teleport NPC right in Port Windurst.

Windurst is used to getting the short end of hte stick but this is rediculious (memorizing teleport NPCs, largest city, weird AH placement and moghouse placements, etc...)

What are you talking about? They moved the Windurst npcs to Port.

Yep they sure did, they goofed and realized it.... Plus its not a big deal on location for teleport npc's... WG warper is right by fountain in woods, in the middle of everything... and OP warp/Moogle city warper, is right out side mog house in port. very easy and very close together. if anything bastok is more of a pain in the butt to get to npc's than windy or sandy for that matter

Good thing I mentioned something then. I didn't realize they had already changed it and wouldn't have until they had done a correction in one of my FFXI podcasts.

Wat? They're a mog house zone away coming in from Bastok Mines.
