.dat Mods.

So, I was browsing some .dat mods and some sparked my interest:
- Phalanx/RR(II)/Bind/Gravity/Phalanx
- Haste(ga)/Slow(ga)(II)
- Aht Urhgan/Al Zhabi re-skin

I downloaded them and replaced the appropriate files and nothing changed. I downloaded them from ffxidats.caarrie, too.

Was wondering if anyone had these mods and are able to provide them, or tell me why they're not working. I've re-logged, re-started completely. Lol.

Positive you replaced the correct ones? And if put into the right folder, renamed them the same as the original files?

Positive. Same process as I did for every other file I've ever modded.

Only thing I can think of then is that the downloads they offered were just the original dats.

Stuff like whitegate is easy to check though really. Done right, you zone in and everything works. Done wrong, you just crash.

That's the funny thing. I was expecting it to work, but when everything was the same, I thought it was odd. Either the downloads were the incorrect files, or they were the originals. I didn't even crash when zoning in or casting the spells.
