OP was just asking for a way to make up the lost revenue, not a detailed psychological profile on posting. It seemed to me a $1-5/month a user was the simplest solution. I'm not saying it's the best or ultimate solution just the easiest way to keep things the way they are.

I was hoping there could have been some legal loophole in explaining that the forums are merely an optional feature on the side and differs from the primary purpose and source of information this site provides. Though in the end that probably doesn't matter much to Google's advertising policy.

Honestly one of my fav. parts of this site is how if you want to have a serious discussion about the game theres spots for that but if you want some out of game discussion as well you don't need to find another web site just for that.
