Just wondering what grade of pencil (9B-9H full spectrum available) would be best for making prep lines for when I go over with Sharpie, and if using PrismaMarkers would be okay for this if I go over with 2-3 layers of Scotchgard.
I would say probably a lighter H grade pencil, you don't want to mess up with greasy black marks that B can do...smear, etc. H would have hard lead and would be extremely light for sketching, I'd recommend maybe H4ish? Dunno... never drew on shoes >.>;
Used an H6 and it's working out pretty well, minus relatively minor marks left behind. Also found a 24 pack of fine-point colored sharpies so I'm able to color it now
Looks fancy.^^
I don't know what advice to give, other than to find a fabric close to the one the shoes are made of and experiment on them until you find something that works.
I, myself, like scribbling on my bare feet when I get really bored, hehe.
