Archon Eggs?? How to get them???
I talk to the chick at the Egg place with an "!" over her head, but it tells me I can't get an egg at this time and to try again later. I tried zoning, I tried logging, but it still says the same thing. Whats wrong? How do I get an egg?
i think its probably every 8 or 12 hours like the bell events
Except I can't even get ONE...
It said on the patch notes the event runs from Thursday 15th 1am to Monday, May 9 (7:00 a.m.) You just tried to get one too early me thinks.
No... I tried an alt. I was able to get one on my alt, but am still not able to get one on my main. Its a glitch
Thats odd.
If you look at the known issues there is a bug that is preventing people from activating the event, it says to try later.

Why not make it like FFXI every 1day ingame you can get the item lol they make the game casual and then the event dumb.

apparently you get one every 8 hours. you gotta talk to the npc that speaks in rhymes.
You get one every TWELVE hours... But I don't know how to start getting a DIFFERENT hat now that I got the first.
you have to do the event in each of the starter citys to get the diff hats dont you??

find the npc that talks all funny, will be standing under somekinda floating multi colored eggs somewhere in town. from what i gather talk to npc every 12hrs to get an egg till you have all the ones you need to get the hat for that city. npc will ask for one archon egg and like 3~4 ele archon eggs. rinse and repeat for each city
edit: has anyone tryed to harvest/mine these eggs, haven't had a chance to see if they set this easter event up like in ffxi

Not getting anything except the pristine egg helm.
The other cities wont give me anything but the pristine egg helm as well. I want the other helms damn it. I got the pristine egg helm from Uldah. I was expecting the same one as the lalafell was wearing.
well obviously there is another means of obtaining the other helms.. Now there are different eggs painted , umbral etc. Im thinking we have to combine something to make those egss, how I do not know. Couple people I know are trying to in different ways hope we figure something out soon would love a r40 egg helm :)

I've not had the chance to try it yet, cos I keep getting lightning eggs, but I wonder if wearing the pristine egg helm when u talk to the npc does anything
edit: I noticed there's a coloured archon egg in the most viewed items. Wonder if it can be crafted. You cannot trade to Wadard.
Wadard says: "Wadard: Unfortunately, the Dreamer has only prepared a limited number of pristine egg caps, and she would not wish to be seen to favor one over another by bestowing a second." So I hope there is a way to get all of the hats, collect them all and not have to sacrifice one for another. Perhaps it is like the helms. Hoping to get more information soon. I've done Uldah so far and started Limsa. The other npc (not the dreamer) is saying if you trade me these specific eggs I'll give u a Pristine hat. I wonder if u can redo a city
edit: ok so I got the right eggs again and talked to the other npc and she called me a greedy git and said I couldn't have another. It hasn't updated my quest log tho so I'm still stuck in Limsa. Okay so i have done all three quests for the eggs. I did my last one in Gridania and i logged out lastnight. When i logged in this morning i talked to the person that gives you eggs and she gave me one. After i finished my quest. So i talked ot the other one that gives you the quest and he didnt. But the lady that gave me the egg said this "Jihli Aliapoh: Yet this will not serve, still more lack a mother.♪Twelve give her strength to take up another.♪" so i think i have to collect 12 more eggs to get another hat or something. I'm not to sure but i will try it.
Just a thought but maybe just maybe we have to wait for the rest of the "quest" until Easter. I hope that is not the case BUT I have a feeling it is.

idk if this was said but there's an update on 25th, maybe there adding it and they didn't have it so people that don't play as much have a chance for the other items more. probably gonna be a scramble"" after they add it. Happy Easter

@ Darksage you are probably correct wish they would have had implemented already would have been nice to have the prettier egg helms for easter but o well what can ya do
I know how you get some of the other ones.
You have to fight Scrambling Spriggans. They drop the Colored Egg, fire, wind, earth, lightning and Ice archon eggs. i have gotten them 100%. I went into the cave @ (31,23) near Camp Bloodshore in that little island looking thing to the left of it (when viewing the map) You can also get an Umbral egg from them. Colored ones do not stack the umbrals do stack.
