Can you move these down or to the right a little? They really get in the way when tryin to look at certain stuff :/

I moved my recast timers down which was helpful but I'd love to move these also.

Yes, you can move them. I'm at work at the moment so I can't give you exact values of where to move them for my resolution though.

http://wiki.windower.net/plugins/statustimer?s[]=status&s[]=timer

a little down the page it shows "set position" etc.

the values are designed to be pixel count or whatever so if youre in 800x600(lol) the Default of x:145, y:64 will be slightly toward the center from the top left. You have to consider your total resolution for those values but by changing it a little at a time you'll find the right spot (mine is the top just to the right of center so it doesnt block /menu).

I just wish there was a way to /hide them temporarily, even if it's via a //command. No matter where you put them, if you have a couple rows of buffs on (abyssea says hi) they get in the way of menu stuffs, especially if you're checking skill levels for whatever reason. Just a pet hate of mine I've had with this plugin ever since I've used it :/

I do 1920/1080 and //statustimer setposy 75 fixes it, but I still haven't figured out to perma set it. Set it up for girlfriend when she plays so I haven't gotten to fiddle with it much.

I put mine to the far right and high on the screen, keeps them out of the way of game information.

Almost-related question: Can I disable statustimer for all statuses except 1~2? Mostly thinking as a weakened timer.

I've only ever used it once, so forgive me if this is a silly question =X

Just put your "//statustimer setposy 75" anywhere in your init file. Basically, everything in your init file is just automatically typed into console when you start the game, so anything you can manually type in will automatically be executed if put in there.

Yes but you need to disable things you don't want in Plugins/StatusData.txt.

For example mine has the following to hide the majority of the useless ones:

Is a newer version required for this? Mine has no StatusData.txt, and creating one did not hide the timers.

Not really sure, I've had people in my Linkshell lack it too. Think they just redownloaded the plug in.

Last modified date of my StatusTimer is 2009 if it means anything.

Wherever I go to download it, it is only the StatusTimer.dll file. Is there anything else in the StatusData.txt file besides the lines you posted? perhaps I'm missing something.

Just commented out lines.

My full file is: http://pastebin.com/H83fmT7i

Windower used to say

Quote:
Usage

Load StatusTimer via the Console or in game with “load statustimer” or ”//load statustimer” respectively. Please note that StatusTimer will only work with Windower v3.4 or higher. Upon first load, a StatusData.txt file will be created to allow for specifying alternate durations for status effects. See that file for instructions on how to do so.

Quote:
Current Known Issues

The StatusData.txt file will not be created if it doesn't exist. Not sure why, as “it works fine on my system”. :)

I guess they're redoing the site or something, could only find it using an old cache from google.

I have a question, how does the alternate duration work?

it says....

//Blink is included as a format demonstration, along with it needing an
//alternate duration value (300 = 5 min = Blink, 900 = 15 min = Aerial Armor)

Blink,36,300,900

I get that the 3rd number is the alternate duration but how does it know which duration to use when you get the blink status?
