anyone know if you need to have Orison Mitts +1 equipped during casting only or the entire time of Regen to have the effect ?

i'm just wondering if i can swap it in for when i cast regen on the tank and then swap right back to my serpents mitts for refresh

Equipping them for precast and going back to your Serpentes on aftercast will work fine. Only bad thing is, Yarnball doesn't recognize the extended duration.

Yep. Unless stated otherwise, you can macro the piece of armor in, use the spell/JA and then macro out of it. There are some pieces that need to remain on in order to get the full effect.
