Hmm I don't know if this has been said I didn't read all of the posts. Leveling blu to 90 without spells in abyssea is making you gimp to begin with. It's the same effect as with astral burning. You don't learn the job at all and a blu that has taken the time to level the job the right way will blow your blu out of the water. Kudo's to all the old school blu's that pretty much had to solo their way up. Easy exp will never teach you the job. The minute you are on your own ur not gonna know what to do and get raped by the mob.

yes I got pts usually on blu back in the day... granted I was known for burning back to back juices but yeah lol. Had to solo almost all the spells though

I don't care how painful your leveling experience was. You're still not going to know jack about how to play a job endgame straight after leveling.

yeah make sure you get helldive and cursed sphere because they are useful.... why would anyone suggest getting all 110 or whatever spells?? Skill up, get the 16 yellow procs because that's all you'll be used for.

In seriousness? It entirely depends what you want to do with it. If it's going to be your main then there really isn't an excuse to get every single spell. If you're going to be a proc-*** or time-*** then start with the absolute necessities (should be obvious) and work your way from there.
