Unlinking A Sqaure Enix ID

Anyone know how to unlink my square enix ID off my account so I can use a new one?

From what I read on their site it says unlinkable. May have to contact SE directly to do it.

You can't. Me and a friend had our accounts linked under the same SE ID.. He insisted on using the token, I hated having to call him to get a code, tried to get them to unlink them, but they said they don't do that.

They will do it if you can provide papers stating that you are divorcing the person you are joined with on the SE account, and in account compromises. Otherwise, SoL.

You don't unlink it from SE account, simply unlink one of the pol accounts from the token. I'm pretty sure they do that on the website, if i remember correctly, just DO NOT unlink all pol accounts from that token or else your token will be useless and you will have to get a new one. It's there somewhere unless they changed it just have to look around.

Yes, I'm currently in this situation. I spent two days on the phone with SE and they will not do it. Even talked to a supervisor and the answer was no. So let this be a warning to everyone. Do NOT link your account. Period. You will be forever linked.

And Slipi, Do you have to use his password to get in as well? I have to sign in under his ID and password then use his sec token to get on line. Do you have to do that too? I'm terrified that if he changes his password I won't have access to my account. Needless to say my own token is on it's way.

I don't play anymore, and right before I quit I finally managed to convince him to take the damned thing off, but yes I did.. I had to use his SE ID info (even the though the account was originally mine, after I quit the time before he took it and linked it all under one token) and that stupid token.. I had to call him up every single time I DC'd, every time I wanted to get on, it got annoying fast.. He's not the type of person you can wake up either.. He would sleep through getting his arm broken..

If your account is linked, and he changes the password and doesn't want to give it up, you're basically ***.. I mean I'm sure there are some circumstances where if you get a hold of just the right person they might do something.. But generally speaking you're going to get "we don't separate accounts". Just count on being ***. Won't matter if you pay the bills, won't matter if you have the REG codes to your account (if you have both, then you might be able to get the info changed to what YOU want it to be, but one way or another both accounts are going to a single person).

Also worth noting if you cancel your Square-Enix ID they cannot restore it after a week, and your POL info will still stay active but they can't do anything for getting it on another square-enix ID meaning your *** and wont be playing on that account anymore.
