I'm guessing on the situation that this is one or the other... i wanted to post it to my facebook, but i didnt know if i should label it "Paradoxal Panties" or "Oxymoron Undies"

depends... the way i was seeing it, if you go to flash someone, and they look... well... they wont see flash... they'll see ***...

but.. if they see flash, you're not currently flashing... unless you use the *** hole, i guess, then the word accurate, or irony would fit...

well, when i was asking if it fell more under the paradox or oxymoron dealio, i was going off of flash in verb form.

I don't find it to be very paradoxical or oxymoronic.
It would be humorous if the dude had slow swimmers or you put it on some slow moving mammal or something like that though, but that would be more on the line of irony.

Literary and other artistic uses of paradoxes imply no contradiction and may be used to describe situations that are ironic.

I.E. People use these words when they should be using other words.

you can take it in verb form, but it doesn't really present itself in verb form.
in the context of the undies, it's a proper noun.

the way you are seeing it is a bit leading to just support what you want to see in it.

but...the flash(tm) is a proper noun.

all joking aside, Its not an oxymoron 100%. Ironic, maybe. Paradoxical... not unless you really stretch and REALLY REALLY stretch it.

It could possibly be construed as ironic depending on the situation, but mostly it would be a coincidental juxtaposition.
