Ya i'm about 100 tatters in with similar stats, did get crit+4 once but no acc or skill. I scrapped them, probably a mistake, but that was before avant and i figured if i was using them instead of heafoc it was for the acc.
How's this for Ukko's? Swap out Mekira-oto +1 for Ravager's depending on the day. Rancor mantle, light gorget, heca +1 hands, moon shade if not at 300% always first thing that comes to mind for me.
Thunder gorget works too right? lol I don't really wanna farm another gorget orz. ~lazy
Yes. If you don't have crit dmg + augmented on heca hands then phorcys in place of it. Avant +1 if you are suffering from acc.

Anyway i am trying to build ukkos setup which gives a good damage for those who want to join VW, odin2, or legion events and not having that high-end gear. So it will be great to create a ukko setup to not make them look bad and to be more functional as a DD. What you think of this setup: 3,950,000 Gil gear cost http://www.ffxiah.com/item-sets/274709 Your text to link here... If you didn't buy that stupid subligar and used a +6 STR instead, you could use the money to buy not ***gear.
Add to that set:
Thunder Belt -- take you an hour to get Grim Cuirass(+1) -- relatively cheap Avant +1 Legs -- about half the price of those, but better Rancorous Mantle -- if you don't have enough gil for it use Rancor Collar/Atheling Mentle Attack/TP Bonus Moonshade -- free, but may take a few days... replace Ravager's Earring with it. Hecatomb +1 Hands -- They're pretty cheap and are going to last you a *long* time. Now... In those events you're more than likely going to need high-end gear if you want to come as a DD. I'd recommend doing what you can to pick up Phorcys. lets say switch

For Legion and high tier VW and Odin2 and stuff you will need more ACC. This is best, since it's taken into account you will always have warcry/bloodrage/champions/etc in Legion and VW, switch the gloves to Phorcys for Odin2 when warcry/bloodrage is down. I didn't suggest Phorcys, since the guy didn't have any in his set. I assume he wanted a set that would work until then. It's why I didn't put in HQ Grim or Hecatomb augs, as the grim will be (hopefully) replaced by Phorcys fairly quickly and augments can get really expensive. There also isn't anything wrong with Heafoc if the acc isn't hurting you, which it shouldn't be unless you're doing T6, PW, or Legion, which I honestly wouldn't bring you along for the latter two without phorcys to begin with.
Is the STP from Raja/Phorcy Head/Brutal enough /sam for a 6hit Ukkos or do you still need the 5 STP from an aug'd armada? I have adaberk from 2007 and not really sure if I wanna invest in replacing it if I could just use the gil to merc a phorcy head/body and still have a solid 6hit.
ninja edit: I understand I'm losing some DA too but how much am i affected considering diminishing returns if I have 26% DA from merits/trait/af3pants/brutal/ravagers earring and can take it up to 28% by picking up Phorcys? Phorcys Head/Brutal/Tyrant's Ring/Rajas should be enough, but I don't see why you wouldn't want to augment it unless you're going for Armada.
Was mainly wondering from a cost advantage. If I don't need the exact 5STP that an Armada is capable of then I'd probably just throw a nominal amount of gil at my adaberk to get *some* boost without going 900+ tries for perfect stats (on top of having to get another abjuration and buy hauberk-1).
But I'm still playing catchup from a 4 year break, so that means I have other places to dump my gil then going for 100% optimal. Edit: Sad face at your avatar change auster... been lurking for a while only recently decided to register but something about your old avatar always made me happy lol. Cost is going to be impossible to say, you could go 1/1 on 2 DA 5 sTP or go 300+. If you have non-body abj. laying around, it won't hurt to try since it will still give you a heavy acc body.

I don't think I have any e.abjs laying around to turn in to tatters but I just got my mule up to Sky so I can probably pick something up relatively easily to turn in to tatters and go for a quick boost on my adaberk.
