lol, Thankfully the NQ caps haste. But really, I'll buy the first +1 I see just for the white box, not because it's useful.

Today I learned my war is "Low-Mid-level". time to kill me some Neo nyzul mobs.

Question about legs:

Ogier's vs. Avant +1 vs. Hecatomb Subligar (5 atk 3 crit).

I just augmented Hecatomb Subligar +1 with +5 attack and +3 crit, and am wondering if I should keep it with the attack or take the next +4 crit that comes out the furnace. I think other than a lucky STR or attack augment the next most useful main augment is 7 acc. How would that compare to Ogier's (which I don't have yet) or Avant +1?

Still behind, keep trying for Ogier's and save your tatters.

I was told Avant+1 are better than Ogier's. So which is actually better in most situations?

For Nyzul, VW below T6, and other events not listed yet, I'd say:

Minimum acceptable:
This is basic, and Kaerin got it right for the most part. It's still a very good accuracy set, having slightly more than the common Armada set. You can easily use Phasmida Belt+Mars Ring/Tyrant's Ring in this set for even more accuracy.

Medium level:
The set Kaerin posted is fine as an accuracy set, but Phasmida>Ninurta any time you would be using this set. The goal with high accuracy sets are to gain so much accuracy in gear, that you don't have to use Sushi, but rather Pizza. The ultimate goal is to be able to use RCB in an accuracy set, giving it more att than even an Attack set. You'd probably need Bravura 95~99 to accomplish this on T6 VW and Legion, if it is even possible.
For a pre-T6 VW set:

Notes: Phorcys Mitts might be out of reach for some people, in which case Augmented Seiryu's Kote>Ogier's Gauntlets>Perle Mouffles. Avant's hands +2, and Rheic hands +2 and +3 are also very good options.

High level:
The set Kaerin posted looks about right.
Notes: In VW (and probably any event with Embrava), Mars Ring > Tyrant's ring. Xhit is extremely devalued and losing 4 STP for 8 Accuracy is only an upgrade. Obviously, Phorcys Mitts when Restraint is down and the 12 accuracy is not needed. Bullwhip belt is fine, Phos belt is basically just for getting the 75 HP back.

Not an edit, but should be said: No way in hell Huginn Gambieras will beat Ravager's Caligae +2 without some sort of amazing augment, which is at this time unknown.

The difference between what I said, and what you said, is that everything I posted remains useful the whole time, and you're suggesting going out of your way to get stuff that becomes useless like Fazheluo Radiant mail.

And also, my valk body set has 1 accuracy less than the old armadaberk set. Why do you call it a low accuracy set?


Even without any augment, they can be better than AF3+2 shoes. But depending on the augment they could pull ahead more often than in 1 specific circumstance. (acc is capped, crit rate is 13% or less, attack is not capped = Hugin+1 wins)
Slight EDIT: You also need to not be tanking for the Hugin+1 shoes to win.

Well you have a point with the Faz set, but it's still better than most for those who have no hopes of ever getting valk breastplate (most the WARs out there). Fazheluo+1/Radiant Mail set is quite good and much cheaper than the Armada and MUCH MUCH cheaper than the Valkyrie options.

Valk body is easily a T1 synth now. It shouldn't be very hard or expensive to get. Probably end up being about the same as Armadaberk in 2~ months when my sets finally start catch on.

ANYWAYS, people adopt certain sets of equipment; it doesn't really do anyone any good to "claim" a set as one's own--nor argue who came up with it first. Drop it.

He said you can use them, not that you should.

He was pointing out what was required, and what new decent options there are available. I came up the correct solution, and the entire discussion was because I brought up my shiney new Valk body and how I wanted to use it to begin with. Let it go, it's all a direct result of me posting on BG about WAR and my new Valk body, and therefor, it's my set.
