Rancor mantle + Ele gorget > Atheling + Rancor collar.

Zahak's is for fodder mobs. And most of the time you're fighting fodder mobs on WAR, you should be using cleave. Grim+1 is superior for almost anything unless you're capped attack, which, as I've said many times, isn't as common as most people think.

I didn't mention Rancor mantle because not many people have that yet, least on my server.

I don't fully understand, specifically what do elemental gorget/belts do for TP -> Crit Rate WS? Just boost crit rate slightly?

I will try to procure a Rancor Mantle and Breeze Gorget if so.

Gorgets/Belts work by modifying fTP, which is a multiplier in the damage equation. fTP is unrelated to the "Effect varies with TP"

Gorgets and belts also have a secondary effect of adding accuracy

Adding acc to WS* for those with down syndrome, even though it says it on the description of the item lol

Great if restraint is *not* up and you can pair it with Augmented Seiryu's Kote or Ogier's Gauntlets. Otherwise don't bother.

Don't think you can maintain xhit build and capped haste without large sacrifices that would pretty much negate the benfit of using Radiant Mail over Adaberk. Could be wrong though.

I don't have Armada Hauberk (probably won't for a while with my luck, only 1/11 Fafnirs dropped Sweet Tea) so my goal is to get Radiant Mail for this purpose.

I have a bit of a "dirty" 6-hit Restraint down build using the normal +1 body and NQ head (it will leave me with 99 tp if the second hit of Ukko's Fury missed AND the first hit didn't double attack)

13 x 1.3 (30 store tp from trait and gear) = 16.9 x5 = 84.5 TP. So I need 16.5 TP from a WS.
I'll say 15.5 assuming the WS hit twice (or the first hit double attacked). 15.5/13 = 1.192 (20 store TP). SAM 45 Job Trait + Rajas Ring alone will cover that.

Frankly though, I'm always using Save TP atmacite in Voidwatch, and on anything else I'm pretty much always being hit, ensuring that I get 100tp in my normal cycle regardless of my luck with WS accuracy.. Someone has suggested fulltiming Rancor Collar though I haven't tried this yet, and Gamayun won't put out for the earring.

My goal with this set was to achieve higher fSTR and attack during TP while still keeping my hit build and haste. I bought the +1 body instead of +1 head because the head would put me over the haste cap pointlessly and add 2 attack, while the body would add 1 more STR and attack, which can double as a piece for my SAM.

Hm, that's an interesting Restraint down setup. With Radiant body you could swap brego out for perle for the attack.

Looks good though.

That's what Im hoping for. :)

However if I could get a really good augment on Seiryu's Kote (Store TP+5 and Crit Rate+2) I wouldn't mind switching back to Blitz Ring and using those.

To be fair, X-hit builds are a bit devalued with misers roll and coercian/regain atmas. (And by a bit I mean heavily devalued).

One should probably make a standard X-hit build, then a VW save TP build.

Regardless of stp I'm wearing, I typically have TP before my WS animation is complete with Coercian/Misers/Ragains.

Which makes me wonder if I should be swapping out my Armada for Augmented Valk during TP or some other option.

Not sure if been posted havent seen much but has anyone comfirmed that the "Increases Double Attack Damage" from the Warrior Cuisses +2 effects WS damage and if yes whats the %

3% IIRC, Don't quote me though, i still don't have them.
Not sure where to post this info, but seems like here is a good place.

Got pants (no augment yet), so I did a little testing on bees in Gusta. Went WAR/THF, so I could force crit. Left column is Warrior's Charge for forced double with pants on. Right column is no pants on (STR+8 elsewhere). All of these were crits.

I average a boost of 2.176% but due to the smallish sample size, I am suspecting 2% unless someone has other data to contradict this.

It's likely 3% based on the .dats before they were released stating 3%, and the double attack being 3%.

I found a link to the original japanese dats here, and it just says. "防51 STR+8 VIT+8 ダブルアタック+3% ダブルアタックダメージアップ" or "DEF 51 STR+8 VIT+8 Double Attack +3% Double Attack Damage Up."

Do you have a link for the dats saying 3%?

I may have been getting mixed up with another piece then, still think it's a good chance at being 3% with the low sample size though.

I'm about to finish my ukon today and was wondering if this would suffice as a 6 hit or do i need to add somthing else, Goading wont drop from me and i dont have a rose strap either.

http://www.ffxiah.com/item-sets/225267

Also what would i need to keep my 6 hit in WS gear.

That's a plausible 6-hit 95% of the time, but unreliable. You'd need to hit the second hit of Ukko's every time to maintain it, which you also won't get starting at 0 tp (not that there's a lot of content where that will happen). Swap Mars's for Tyrant's will work though.

Also, you might want to alter the set to handle Save TP from voidwatch, I personally just switch the AF3+2 body for Grim+1, and when you have a corsair, you're *** because nothing you do will ever be right.

I am interested in this as well. Rancor mantle/Nefarious collar for TP or just stick with Atheling/Rancor collar?

I couldn't come up with anything involving Rancor Mantle/Nefarious for TP that I could consider as better. I personally think Portus/Atheling should be best, but Rancor/Atheling seems fairly close to it.
