Verified Weapons Etc?

Ok I'm curious of this because there is a message under a list of ppl who say they have a weapon like a relic or mythic and this message shows : Ownerships verified by the Linkshell Community are highlighted.

So does that mean if they are not highlighted on ffxiah.com is some kinda hack or something that they try to have as their weapon? I've seen few highlighted but the rest are not.

And I'm asking cause I'm sure over a few days the linkshell community would update that to verify them correct?

I'm just curious and I'm asking cause a few ls members brought this up of someone they saw on ffxiah.com. The person has a mythic but doesn't have captain rank.
