Eh I can see that point, I can see people getting lazy sometimes. It just doesn't happen to me though, I always swap into a idle set that has +6 tick refresh (or 5 if need w legs) after every fight due to not using MM. It's become custom so it doesn't bother me at all/I don't even notice it.

And something I'ma play around with when I finish alexandrite up post update: Could slap on a zelus and be at 26% haste if we get more stuff to play with in our TP sets next update.

That's just my set, optimally you'd also want epona's in place of the keen ring and a fortitude torque in place of the ziel charm, but meh. However it would be -17~18 Acc, -5 Evasion and -7 Attack for "+1%" Haste.

[46 days between previous and next post]With the new update gears, I was looking at a new TP set for BLU, and was wondering if this is the new best (For Inside Abyssea at least):
STR Shamshir. Neck and ammo will vary, but yeah if you're not TPing in Mavi Mintan +2 for the refresh that's the way to go. Good luck getting a Mextli Harness though.
I've started using dusk +1 feet for the minimal atk gain over the acc that does nothing for me for most part. Most people here are afraid of dusk though. How is the body hard to get though, doesn't it come from the chest off Havhava(sp?) Can spam him.

I use Homam instead of Dusk simply because that amazingly incredible world shattering instant death causing 4atk isn't work clogging my inventory space even further. I really don't understand how min/maxing has gotten so bad that you're a gimp if you don't wear dusk on BLU. :\
Did someone say you are gimp for not using Dusk? I realize it's a very small improvement but nowhere did I say you are gimp for not using it. Try to tone the defense down a notch bud. Also, it isn't clogging anything, you replace homam with it because you wouldn't use homam feet for anything else.

In my opinion, considering occasional spell use, STR shamshir. There are also fights where I only spell spam, most on really weak old content where it gets the job done faster than tp > ws. Draylo's the only one that's mentioned Dusk (aside from hands in Aeronis' set, which are necessary to cap haste with that build), obvious conclusion is that you're responding to him.

I have more sources than one forum. Obvious conclusion is not obvious. ==DA and STR swords== I can only see the DA getting better with subsequent upgrades. At 99 it may even be the best offhand magian sword. Edit: Offhand for almace, mainhand anything else I suppose since the base damage is higher than elemental branches. Really small improvement over tiphia sting I guess if you don't get white tathlum.
This is what i use, i have the rest of my AF3+2 but.. I generally use them as macro pieces, and i rather use Homam hands over Ocelot because of HP/MP+ and Acc on them. Working on Almace but it's not priority right now, I usually use my blu for CW anyways. Edit: I never know what neck to use V.V Orochi nodowa, Fort torque. Why are you using homam legs if you have af3+2 ? Don't tp in that tathlum, get a smart grenade or white tathlum. You really don't need acc for good 80%+ of NMs... As long as you are capped skills you should swap those hands/feet out.
