I guess it's good for modern computers that have like 10 GB or ram, but there should be an option to have only one process.

There use to be, but they removed it :\

well Kali if you're feeling froggy, you could download the source and edit it to limit what it does, but I'm sure you'll see some negative effects.

You could browse in a virtual machine, which a lot of people should anyway, as they don't know "what not to click"

and you can limit how many cores/how much ram a VM uses.

or from what I read you should be able to do it with this:

Never had problems with Internet Explorer really. :o Tried using Firefox a while back... always problems with videos, always!
Chrome doesn't seem all that different either :<
