I hate the whole "I'm a female gamer, girl power" movement.
If I hear one more faux high pitched voiced girl say "I totally love Zelda and Pokemon omg!" I am going to scream. I call myself a gamer. Because that's what I am. I don't have to put "Female or Girl" in front of it. It annoys me to no end.
Also you know what. I've never enjoyed a Zelda game. I said it. I mean it and I haven't liked a Pokemon game since Fire red. I own all the ones after it. Still I just buy them out of habit now. I haven't finished one in ages.
I haven't played any Zelda since Majora's Mask, and that wasn't my fav, by far. Windwaker was just....awful. I watched my cousin play a decent bit of it, and it was just dreadful. I haven't seen anybody play Skyward or much of Twilight Princess, but a lack of a Wii would do that. I do think those titles look interesting though.
It's not that I don't like them. I've owned a lot of them. But I just never really got super into them. I buy games a little too much. So I own a lot of things I don't play.
But something about Zelda never really grabbed my attention and held it ever.
I never played Twilight Princess, but I did play Skyward Sword and that was a very enjoyable game for me. The only problem I had with it, is it didn't feel as "difficult" as its predecessors. But gameplay wise I really enjoyed being the blade and shield.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
