Personally I couldn't really relate with Conner as much as I did his dad. In fact this is the first game that I didn't see the Templar's as evil; well except Lee he just seemed like scum. When he killed his dad I was beyond disappointed. :/
Though I had like 5 glitches. One of which caused me to have to restart from the beginning of a long mission, the fighting seemed cumbersome, and stealth useless. It all made me miss *** creed 1/2.
Yea the Desmond thing was cheap I hope there's something going on that we didn't see.
I didn't think the fighting or stealth was really that much different from any other AC games. And in the end I just end up Leroy Jenkinsing everything.
the new jumping through windows/fences was cool but was really one of the new add ons that I do think was useless. I could never find them when I needed them!
Also the sync points were unnecessary and I hated climbing those big trees trying to get to them.
I had one major glitch on the PS3 and it looked like my game exploded and I tried zoning and restarting and I couldn't fix it. Fortunately after I turned the PS off for about 5 minutes the game came back to life. Sucks that I couldn't save multiple games but atleast I made it through unscathed...unlike skyrim where I couldn't finish an entire mission line.
I could not relate to Conner per se because I'm a privileged white chick. But as soon as we met him in game I really sympathized with him because I knew his story was not going to go anywhere happy.
did anybody really think he was going to save his tribe? the natives were practically wiped out..our natives are still living on rundown reservations currently. And then at the end they showed the group of black people while all the white people were celebrating the end of the war....that was just incredibly depressing. He helped all these people in the hopes of helping everybody be equal because he's gullible. Conner was like the first assassin to pretty much not accomplish anything because life is unfair.
he makes me feel feelings for him of uber depressingness.
But Haytham was awesome. He really was a jerk but a very amusing one in a kind of Lucius Malfoy way.
As for the templars not seemingly evil anymore...well..how else are they going to become a huge company that owns everything in the near future?
