They make a mesh cup that is reusable so you can use any brand of coffee.

What Dread said... plus I think the price is worth it... though I only really got one for guests as I don't drink coffee myself... Though if you want a free coffee maker the people I bought my new place from left that and a button... I'm not actually sure if it still works but its yours if you want it lol...

D: NUUUUUUUU I have tried that lol (it came with one of the mesh thingies) I usually just go to BJs or Sams and get a big *** box lol, last me a few months.

Their patent on the K-cup should be expiring soon and a few off brands will prolly be making a cheaper version for their machines.

Edit' or has this already happened and I didn't realize it?

My boss is thinking about getting one of those instead of regular coffee maker for our office. I keep threatening that I will just make my coffee at home in a thermos if he does. I am NOT a fan of that system of coffee. Coffee making is an art, not some pre packaged coffee cup hot blasted to instantly gratify oneself.

Not really. The whole purpose of the Keurig is to make a perfect cup of coffee in 60 seconds. The K-cups are just pre-packaged coffee ground cups for a balanced cup. Not to strong or to weak.

With the Mesh cup you can pick if you want a stronger cup of coffee by adding more grounds to it, or weaker by adding less, and it still brews in 60 seconds.

We have one at the office here... one reason it's great is the lack of fuss when it comes to clean up... the old pot of coffee system you had to rely on people to keep making and then cleaning the stuff every day... didn't always happen... the keurig works here well...

just the fact i have to spend more money to get grounds/cups makes me not really want to save for it lol my income only lasts for a tiny bit then down to absolutely nothing lol parents dont give me money besides to buy books
